Simulator, tie?

I simulate 12 swordsmen vs 1 swordsmen 1 archer 2 hopelites and it shows that everyone die, I need 14 to have myself have one left.
Will I win the farm with 12 or will it be a tie or?

Cause I would like to know if I could also in the future use less to achieve the same result

my personal preference is to attack with enough troops to wipe my enemy out without being wiped out myself. That has little to do with your question, but its something for you to keep in mind in the future

The simulator will give you overall results that are very good, but it is not always 100% accurate win determing how many units are killed. Always go for a slightly larger army.

And if you are attacking real people, then luck gets involved, so you will generally want at least a 20% margin of superiority, if not larger.

I've attacked and successfully conquered farms even though both armies were wiped out. 1 Swordsman vs. 1 Slinger, both died, the combat report was red, but I still 'successfully' conquered the village and was able to start demanding loot from it.
