LS and Chariot
I love em, they are dang expensive though, and take tons of favor
And take ages to replace,
Still going with my offensive and defensive hoppies. (D)
favorite sea unit, tireme. Definitly worth the price. Has defense almost double of bireme, and can attack too. So you won't get stuck with a bunch of fireships left in harbor when offline and get attacked.
Land would have to be hoplite. good offense, good defense against horsemen and chariots. A defensive force of hoplites and swordsmen,(plus a few archers for farming) is an unstoppable land force.
God would have to be manticore. 1 manticore can take out 100 swordsmen. Literrally, try it out in simulator. I also like hydra. They are awsome naval force and about 20 of them is all you need. Downfall, they take level 25 temple and are Very expensive
...never try to clear a village with just hops you will get wasted.
slingers
cheap, easy, and have some power
but if you join my army as a slinger, you wont live long.
Favourite unit?
The last one standing.
{ ....as long as it's mine. }
Noob.ro:It's a good thing you admit it. Anyhoo, my fave unit is, of course, te HOPPIES! You gotta love them, I mean you can have 1000 maybe 2000 swordsman for defense but just 300 hoppies will farm a town juuust right. Ok that may not be the best reason so how about: Hoplites are a perfect example of both strong attack and moderately good defense units. Their specialised attack strength has gained me lots of resources over my one mont of playing (Yes, I did say one month of playing) and their defense has helped me aswell. Although for defense I truthfully have to say that swordsman and archers (in large numbers) are a bit better than hoplites (in few numbers).a good thread for a noob like me, learn from those who know to keep a good army for my town
