He must do. He's the only one who's whined here since Daveinator prowled here. :D

talking about Raf3kik, i havent seen him on here much lately.

Also I agree with Thomaseus's sentiment about spqr bringing a bit of life to these forums. but you have to exercise a bit of doublethink to get around his whining about whiners ;)

Moi? Of course I haven't been here, I got this thing called life, but it didn't last long so I'm back here...

with fresh stuff that have nothing to do with this thread: http://prntscr.com/3d49o2

EDIT: What I meant is, when you bring a new player( to the game) you should tell him that he shouldn't send ships unescorted

That wisdom report is just beautiful...Why people never play with me like that? I like easy BP too :(

Just by the way how 1 bireme can take care of a whole fleet? :p
That is really odd if you actually think about it...

Transports are just so slow that biremes can run around sinking them all while they try to wallow into port ... the part I don't get is why you don't lose a bireme here and there ... you'd think those slingers could hit SOMETHING on a bireme to make it at least run into another bireme, or that the hoplites would think to THROW their spears at a bireme ... horsemen I get, they're useless on foot ... wonder if we could talk them into letting Transports through if they contain archers, though.....

Agreed. Or the transports themselves should be able to fight. I don't know if you guys have played Rome total war 2, but the scenario is similar. A lone bireme against a fleet of transports. The transports loose a couple of ships cause the bireme is stronger and faster, but eventually the transports either ram it enough times to sink it or board it with melee units and kill all the sailors. I think that transports should be give some sort of ability in a navel battle. They would be weak, but not helpless. I know sinking entire fleets with one bireme is fun, but its very unrealistic.

Well fast trans have an attack value of 20 so in theory 8-9 of them should be able to kill 1 brime? Although for some reason that does not seem to work in practice i wonder why?
