There are many of us who have been playing in this world for years. The world is over ten years old and many people are invested in it. It allows players to not worry incessantly about losing a city but still have fun and compete to group and fight over ghosts. Please do not ruin a good thing.

I don't have the time to play a serious combat world but Naucratis fits my needs perfectly.
I've got 4 winners medals so have "been there, done that" but I couldn't fit that lifestyle into my life atm.
I am happy in Naucratis, without it I would have to attack my book pile.

I would not be fussed if they shut Hyperborea tomorrow. It has offered good slow paced no worries gameplay. A lot of the characters that made this world interesting have left and we rarely get new features. It took a number of years to get the 'new' god Artemis. It does not bother me as I started out in world alpha and beta before the newer features were introduced. However, I can see why this world would not appeal to new players. I last played competitively in Rhammus and would not play a normal world again. I am not a masochist so take no pleasure in being woken up by attack alarms at 3am repeatedly!

As Luke said above..."There are many of us who have been playing in this world for years. The world is over ten years old and many people are invested in it. The only reason I returned to play was the because I did not have to worry about losing cities, 24/7, that I spent a lot of time on building and growing.
