TDC is bringing back MC Hammer

This is the fourth series of all out offensives TDC has launched on me and it's the same old story. This is my message to TDC and most importantly, Hippolytes for it is he, who has provided me with much entertainment.

It never ceases to amaze me how they can grow so large but attack so poorly. I can't count how many attacks have come in without any escorts at all. I've been hit by bireme nukes, transport nukes and solitary manticores. This is getting retarded.

Most recently, the 12 separate players that have launched attacks on my cities have had to call in the big guns. Stonerforlife1 has enacted earthquakes on 3 of my cities. I guess when 12 useless players can't do it, call in a real player from the shadow alliance.

To keep it short and sweet (and on topic), I present to you a copy of a letter dashed off to Hippolytes, master of the unescorted transport, Admiral of the First Bireme Nuke Fleet and all around class act. Unfortunately I can't wax poetic anywhere close to the level of Basil Barfly but MC Hammer sure can. You'll have to plug the town code into the game to catch it.

Ah man! Hippolytes, you're because [town]37014[/town]. All those earthquakes and still: [town]37014[/town]. Just remember one thing: [town]37014[/town].

I told you homeboy [town]37014[/town]

actually.. I think the very town you sing about is the one he took.

damn.. he ruined the song. I'll ask him to change the name back.

that's gotta be really kinda embarrassing.

I mean after you stole a song and everything... your city (kinda the whole point of the song) gets taken by the same weak player you were complaining about.

so.. if he is really that weak.. how did you lose it? Are you weaker than that?

man.. sorry to rub salt in the wound.. but this is just too much fun.. lol!

Quite easy Joker. It was one player defending against no less than twelve different players of similar size for a period approaching thirty-six hours in which over 100 seperate attacks were launched in addition to dozens of earthquakes.

In addition, I had to support my other cities which were also coming under attack following a similar barrage of purchased earthquakes. Had this player not been too proud to call for support, the city in question would not have fallen.

It was a well fought battle during which I made two costly mistakes: I didn't ask for support and I enlisted my militia a few minutes too soon. Those militia could've easily repelled Hippo's swordsman escorted CS attack.

It's important to note that despite the sustained efforts of a combined and surprisingly well timed TDC effort consisting of a dozen individuals, one player was able to hold out for so long in so many different cities without support and without jeopardizing the defences of other cities.

So yes, I may have lost a city, but I gained a few battle points in the process and I come out no worse for the wear. Hippo could not have, and did not, cause any damage with his bireme nukes and unescorted transports. I know this because this was Hippo's third attempt. In the process, TDC lost far more than I did.

yep, you are pretty amazing!

still lost a city though.. to... how was it you put it?

a CS with swordsman?

not your finest hour... sucks about the song. I talked to hippo, he isn't gonna change the name back. :(

sorry mate.

if he had asked me for help, he could have shortened the duration of your suffering considerably. he never did. I think he was training the new recruits.. and himself a bit.. I suppose.. :)

everyone has to learn somewhere on someone right?

or they just don't.

Obviously not amazing enough; I did lose the city after all. Hippo doesn't own the city anymore, he passed it off to Jock Anderson who is apparently trying to make a comeback.

It's all part of the game. Mind you, I don't like the egg on my face, but still, part of the game.
