Can somebody help me with the proper etiquette here?

What is the proper thank-you gift to an alliance that gave me such a wonderful present of four consecutive unescorted transports filled with units?

I've been having celebrations in all of my cities continually over the past day, and my delighted citizens want to show the proper appreciation.

Just keep letting them come, roll up your battle points. I have some new guy who keeps deciding to attack my main city with 5 swordsmen. Keep rolling up my battle points!
