I have only played 2 or 3 worlds but the most influencing one i came across was Hogs of Destiny in Alpha.

They were seen as a bunch of noobs because they had almost 3000 members at their peak. Despite being Number 4 in the world, they had an extremely low player average and the majority of players were terrible. They had more members in their alliance than some worlds have all together.

The only reason they did well is because they had a very devoted leader who kept them all together. They split up into multiple legions and wiped out strongerp layers due to sheer numbers. Once the leader left, the alliance fell.

This shows their influence because they pratically made up a MRA. They also proved that a good leader can make all of the difference, they had the entire world surrounded and if all the members they ever had where in one alliance, they would have been the first alliance to get 7 WW due to sheer numbers.

They also gave alliances with quality players a guideline of what not to go by.
