Below is my opinion on the top 12 as it stands.

1 The Indomitable Gauls
Members: 30
Cities: 47
Avg Point per member: 5,212
ABP: 26,954 (1st)
Comment: Positioned on the O45/ O55 northern border with members on the O54/ O55 border they are almost at the center point of the core. At this early stage they are showing good promise with almost 50% of their members having their second city and ranked 1st in ABP with a clear lead. They have picked up some of the top members from Sausage Smugglers who are obvioulsy not happy. They dont seem to be focusing on an one alliance with their conquests and are probably concentrating on position rather than enemies at the moment. All their members are showing good growth but still have 3 that have no kills on the board Time will tell if they can hold onto their top spot
2 Rim Express
Members: 29
Cities: 32
Avg Point per member: 3,240
ABP: 10,845 (4th)
Comment: Positioned in O54 they have a resonable spread between their cities and seem to have landed either side of a large dead space in the ocean. This may cause some issues with supporting each other but its not that bad to be a major concern. They have started to pick up addition cities with 3 shiny new ones on the board. They are getting some kills on the board and sit a respectable 4th in the ABP ranking however they still have members who havent bloodied their troops yet.

Comment: Positioned in the NE corner of O54 they have a nice tight spread of cities. They also have taken their first conquest for the alliance and seem to have active members. It should be interesting times for these guys with The Indomitable Gauls on their northern border and Rim Express on their flanks.

They to are mixed in with Rim Express so should see some fun times ahead They have some decent growth but seem to be slowing down with their kill rate which will need to be addressed if they are to continue up the ABP rankings. They have picked up their first conquest and should have more soon to follow
6 Veritas Prime

Comment: Positioned in the SE corner of O44 they already show having a number of members with limited activity and no growth in the last few days which will make it hard for them to recover at this early stages of the game. They do have quite low ABP for a top 12 alliance which may indicate their lack of experience. They have however taken their first conquest and should have a couple of additional members that are almost ready to take their first.
7 Semper Fidelis

They need to get some more kills if they are to be taken seriously as an alliance
8 The Exile

Comment: Positioned in the SW corner of O54 they have quite a large spread of cities for the number of members. If its possible to have a MRA in this world then you would have to look at The Exile potentially being one. With almost maxed out membership, wide spread of members, low average points and low ABP they seem to tick all the boxes for one. With their souther most members positioned on the NE border of The Indomitable Gauls i expect they will be slowly consumed They are also ranked 7th for DBP so someone is having some fun with their members

They are sitting a respectable 7th for ABP but have a number of members with no kills and thanks to probably the top half of their members that they are keeping this position.
10 Shadows Fall

Comment: Positioned towards the SE corner of O44 they seem to be the dark horse at the moment. With only 21 members they have jumped into 2nd place for ABP and showing alot of promise. They have 2 shinny new cities for the alliance but both were abandoned so easy takes for them All their members seem active and getting some good kills on the board I think these guys will be the ones to watch
11 Dark Avengers

Comment: Positioned in O45 they have a resonable spread diagonally across the NE corner of the ocean. Comment: The Indomitable Gauls still continue to grow at a rapid rate and now have 25 colonizations. It seems they have a liking for sausage and have taken a number of cities off Sausage Smugglers. It also appears a couple of Sausage Smugglers members have taken on the attitude "if you cant beat them join them" and have jumped a sinking ship into TIG. A number of their members have taken Abandoned cities which i would not have thought would be necessary given their current strength but maybe its for strategic positioning. Ranked 6th for DBP someone is at least having a crack back at them

11 DEATh Wings (New)

Comment: Another new alliance to the top 12 whose leaders have taken the splatter gun approach to recruiting and have members spread across the whole of O54. They do have a bit o ABP on the board and all their members look active. I imagine they will slowly get picked off as given their spread they cant possibly effectivley support each other.

Comment: Dropping 3 spots in the ranking as a result of 3 members leaving for another alliance and the increase in recruitment by SF and DA they have their first conquest of a respectable size city off another alliance member. They have had quite low increase in ABP compared to the other alliances causing them to drop a spot in ABP ranking but resonable growth in their avg points per member.

Comment: With no colonisations on the board they should have members that are well and trully ready for it and need to get a move on
. They still have a number of members looking to have limited activity and their leader probably need to get their kicking boots on . They have picked up a place in the ABP ranking but need to do more than a 700 increase in comparison to the other alliances in the top 12.9 Infection (=)

Comment: Infection seem to be ticking along all be it quite slowly with very low increase in their stats compared to the rest of the top 12. They have dropped 2 spots for ABP as a result of their slow growth. They need to pick up the pace if they are going to be contender in this world.

Comment: New to the top 12 Valkyrie and positioned with some members in the SE corner of O54 and some in the middle of O55 they appear to be a classic noob alliance with random recruiting without any thought of relative position to each of their memebrs. Oh dear they also have an academy alliance, cant be bother writing to much more as they wont be here for long
11 DEATh Wings (New)

Comment: Another new alliance to the top 12 whose leaders have taken the splatter gun approach to recruiting and have members spread across the whole of O54. They do have a bit o ABP on the board and all their members look active. I imagine they will slowly get picked off as given their spread they cant possibly effectivley support each other.
12 The SilenT Killers (=)

Avg Point per member: 2,213 (+319)
ABP: 2,275 (+818) (22nd(+4))
DBP: 2,948 (20th)
Comment: They have managed to keep their top 12 spot by the skin of their teeth with The Unknown Quantity breathing down their necks. They have managed to jump a few spots in the ABP ranking but its still very low for a top 12 alliance.
Additional Note:
Veritas Prime - dropped 9 spots in the ranking to 15th after loosing 3 cities to Shadows Fall
The Exile - drop 16 spots to 24th due to loosing a city and a bunch of members to other alliances.

I half scolded some of the people who took ghosts, but some of them were not completely whacked.
