Top Alliances of Zygomal

First off Zygomal is a made up name that sounds like a Star Wars fanfiction planet. Second off, here's me reupping the world chat. Lastly, here's how day 1 is looking.

1) Just For Laughs- Good coring in O54. Starting pretty fast but can they maintain the pace? History says yes. All in all, O54 looks somewhat interesting as JFL has a few folks there that will be looking to challenge. Iron Fist, the Whip Covenant, and The Supervisors. The pros for JFL here are that these groups probably would lean more towards food than a serious challenge. This will probably be one of the groups to watch as they're coming off a pretty successful run in EN173. I'd imagine their goals are simple. First, get the win this time. Second, give some payback to those who ruined the first goal in En173...or in some cases, more payback. Their plan is probably pretty simple too. I'd imagine it's go and smash Surprise Party or die trying. I don't have much of a doubt that they can do the fighting part. The winning dom part is what'll be important here. The main advantages here are that Charlie has a standing premade with good talent for the first time in forever and doesn't need to infiltrate various teams and wheel and deal until he's on top. He's starting on top. That said, this can be a bit of a double edged sword. Part of what made EN173 so successful was that he was taking advantage of and orchestrating chaos until it was time to reveal himself and build JFL. This time around, everyone knows that JFL is coming and what they signed up for. Still, this would be my early favorite to win. SWIM.

2) Surprise Party/Undead Corporation//Tag Team/Various Individual Players-
I have a lot to say about this group because, well, they're easily the most interesting group in terms of pre-world intrigue. So let's start. Probably the least surprising party of all time. What is a bit surprising is their starting location. I would have figured, based on how things went for them last time and a lot of this group's tendencies to bring up what worked in past history, that the plan would have been to land on top of Charlie out of the gate. So to see them an ocean over with a solid few island buffer from JFL's nearest players was...unexpected and a bit disappointing to say the least. But if that's the plan, then that's the plan. Maybe it works out for them. I don't know about any of that. What I do know is that this is the other main team to watch, they should be a main contender in this world so long as they don't implode...but they'll have to forgive me for going off of recent history and saying that's a big if right now. What I do like is that they don't appear to be dropping as many folks as they did in EN173, it looks a little tighter than then and shows that some lessons were learned. The roster itself looks good enough, assuming the alts are some of their premier players and not just scrub or botter 445 that they pulled out of a bargain bin. I also think that their leads might have a better idea of how to handle factors like fighting and adversity better than the previous crew did considering that their past two wins have been the epitome of managing chaos. What I don't like is that there's a lot of people on alts. Suggesting that they haven't learned the botting lessons of EN173 or worse, they're folks hoping that JFL might miss them with a new name. Another concern I'd have is that they seem to be starting a bit slow. But its day 1, so maybe that's nothing. What I like least though is that, once again, there seems to be this weird "we're split but together" thing going on with it feeling like the folks that are actually trying, off in their own teams and the rest in the main team. All of this said, this group seems to be a bit of a wildcard. Struggling when they're supposed to succeed, but snatching final victory from the jaws of defeat. My bet would be on them making it to be in a position to do so again in the worst case scenario. SWIM.

3) Iron Fist-
Dripping down the centerline of the world like a bad paint job. A couple of names that I recognize, but I don't think this one is long for the world. They're in both JFL and Surprise Party's core and my guess would be that they're going to feed both. Best advice I have for them would be to try to ally The Supervisors and The Whip Covenant (for as long as they'll be around) to try to have some sort of cohesive resistance. Next best advice would be to move back into safer waters and reorganize. SINK.

4) THE WHIP COVENANT-
STOP YELLING INGRID YOU AREN'T EVEN BEING ATTACKED YET. There's not really much I can say about this. Similar situation to Iron Fist. Does form a somewhat okay core with Iron Fist. I don't see this one lasting. SINK.

5) Crimson Order-
I recognize a few names here but all in all, this looks like your generic early Grep alliance. Pretty spread out save for one island that's just below SP's starting position. Still, if they found and conquer into O45, then they have a good chance to actually push for a top 3 dom spot in this world. They have two main early factors that I can see. The first is that their "core" is dangerously close to SP's and they might be early victim children. The second is a wildcard that I'll bring up at the end. FLOAT.

6) Emotationalbaggagebandits-
If it weren't for the goofy *** world name, I'd say that they'll at least win funniest name of the world. Looks to be a bit random, but they're actually decently cored and positioned deep in O55. Suggesting that some level of planning and organization went into this. There's a few familiar names here and they should survive in O55, at least initially. The main question will be if JFL comes down for them. That said, that's a problem that's probably aways a way still. SWIM.

7) Supervisors-
I'll give Fadiga a lot of credit, dude always is down to get the smoke. Team is pretty much positioned along the core of the world. Normally I'd say that this won't work out and is going to be an issue, but this team will probably reposition into O55 with EBB. Maybe into O44 with SP if the power of friendship carried beyond EN173. FLOAT-SWIM.

8) Ocean Warrior-
Team is also positioned right along the middle of the world on the O45/O55 border. Not really many names that I recognize. If they pick a direction, like O45 then they might have a chance to survive. But gonna say this is a SINK.

9) House Stark/House Lannister-
Another EN173 team. The GOT team. Largely will be a conglomerate of newer players led by Lion and some others. Will likely push for the rim sooner than later. Last time, they fled out of the circle entirely. Could they stay in the likely circle this time around? I don't know what this edition holds. But what I do know is that this team probably won't outright sink and it probably won't be a major contender to win on it own. But if they position correctly, they could force a merge with a needy team. FLOAT.

Wild Card:
It seems that Miknel has crawled out of the grave and landed in O45 by himself. The question is will he stay by himself or begin to try to recruit former MP players? Or is he going to try to join an alliance? Maybe he'll do what I did and hijack an MRA. The possibilities are endless but the ending itself is pretty predictable.

nice breakdown especially on day 1. Not sure if people changing their names is about botting or Charlie's hit list. Think surprise party may have been selective about their drop after being sick to death of having a team drop behind them literally every world for the last 2 years and then spend 3 months fighting a war on all fronts.

also, i am willing to offer Lion a financial incentive to stop naming 12 alliances a world after game of thrones houses. Time to move on bro, its just a show and ned stark is dead. get over it.

Nice to be back after a while.... If you are one of them people who did a name change and know me reach out so we can catch up. Have a blessed day and May The Schwartz Be With You

3 players banned not even 2 days into a world. It will just continue to amaze me how a group built on botting and cheating can continue to get anyone to play with them. But hey, big mean man attack too much!

Embarrassing to everyone in that team. 3 banned and another 20 of them still blatantly botting or multi accounting to try to compete with me.

Right so circling back to to my earlier post. Bargain bin it is. O44 drop is a little less confusing now.

No but seriously how do you not make it two days without a ban? Lmao

Welp already some developments here and I'm riding high off a stress free basketball win. So lets dive into it.

1) Surprise Party/UNDEAD CORPORATION/Surprise Aegis/Tag Team- Welp, its gonna be a pile on these guys day, I guess. A few issues that are happening early. First, in terms of growth, they're lagging behind a bit. Its not just a gold thing, its an activity thing. Supervisors actually has a higher average than SP, now if you shuffled the deck chairs, they could fix that perception. But the issue persists. They dropped 48 people and maybe 15-20 of them are actually playing...and at best 12-17 of those are actually playing clean. Which brings us to issue two, its day 3 and they've already taken 3 bans. Starting to become a really bad set of runs for a crowd filled with members that have been preaching about skills not scripts since Covid. Lastly we get to the O44 drop. I think everyone, including some of this group, expected this group to drop into O54 and go right for the jugular. Instead this feels the other way around. Now what I'm not doing is saying that its over, I don't have a crystal ball and that'd be a stupid take for day 3. What I am saying is that some stated concerns feel more solidified. They have a few days to figure that out. And I do think that they have some advantages, there's a solid amount of food spawning around them that could let them accelerate their growth. But my overall take on this group is that win, lose, or draw, someone needs to step up here and be the bad guy. Trim this down to a good core group and stick with it. The credit I will give, is that I think it'd be hard to break this group and if they make it to the end, they tend to manage the end game pretty well. But based on early results here and the last couple of runs, this feels a bit like Tom Izzo dragging his teams to the tournament in down years. DOGGY PADDLE. I can't really say this group is a hard swim if they're gonna take bans already. But I can't say they're just treading water either. They're doing fine so far. Not spectacular, not terrible. Just fine.

2) Just For Laughs- Growing at a pretty quick rate and establishing a pretty decent core. Early on, they're by and far outgrowing everyone else. This group seems to have a pretty good mix of gold use and high activity or in some cases, both. I think most of that is pretty expected. What is interested is that Charlie and Solace have gone and put a pair of cities in Surprise Party's core. I think that's a pretty clear signal that a fight is happening sooner than later. What I do think I have questions over are some of the new faces. We know that the core group will probably continue to play pretty well together. That's like 5-6 folks. That's enough to cause a lot of damage if things pop off. But to take that next step, this team will need its new and returning blood to gel together and do so quickly. I think in terms of fighting, I have a high trust in that happening. SWIM.

3) Supervisors-
This group utterly fascinates me. Fadiga, Miknel, and Gaby Kity. If they don't try to kill each other (some more literally than others) and maybe lean into each other's strengths, this group could have some potential. I think they have a legitimate opportunity. While JFL and SP (and friends) fight it out, they could grab O55/O45 and have a pretty strong dom case. They'll need some luck, mainly neither side throwing up the white flag. If one does though, they'll need to be ready. Like I said, if everyone plays to their strengths and stays in their lane, that could be a little more interesting than last time. But for now, on day 3, the world looks to be their oyster. SWIM.

4) EmotionalBaggageBandits-
This group is blessed with a key advantage. They are way tf out of the way of the action and are building a nice core. I suspect that they'll pair with Supervisors. But admittedly, that's me projecting past experience onto the present. If that mix happens though, they're in a strong spot for dom. We already know that combo can absorb the JFL blows. It won't be pretty. It might be tight if this world isn't as dynamic as EN173. But two open oceans are two open oceans. SWIM.

I think that I'll end it here. Not a ton is different that I can see outside of this. Maybe the other alliances can attempt a bandwagon somewhere. But they seem pretty consistent. The only other fun fact is that the GOT team is actually the #3 team in the world. But I didn't have much to say on them. If something interesting happens, I may do a bit on it here. If a lot interesting happens, I may do another top X alliances before BP ends. But I suspect that it'll be pretty steady. Anyways, Ima go back to enjoying my team's tournament win and drinking a bit. Hope this entertains folks through these boring peace times.

so let me get this straight!
