It actually does, especially when they ask you to stop farming, ask for resources in return, they usually say yes

If you don't join my alliance I'm going to attack you.... derp. On one of my first worlds I had the highest point player (a few weeks into launch) use this threat on me.

After wasting his first 3 CS's on me, he learned about turtles. ;)

Hmmmm... I am going to keep a very sharp eye on this thread. As long as there is no personal insults or flaming comments, then it'll be just fine.

Well I can never keep a straight face with trash talk, so I always prefer to put a joke in it. In fact the way to tell if I'm bluffing is if there's a joke in it. If there is, it's serious, if not, I'm bluffing. Which I'll now have to change, having told everyone. ;)
