Changelog 2.195

Dear Community,

On Wednesday August 21st Grepolis will be upated to version 2.195. As always there will be a short downtime while the update is applied.

In this update, we've made some tweaks to a few texts in the game for clarification, as well as some other technical changes in the background.

New Features and Changes

  • The 'Premium Exchange' entry in the trade reports and trade overview is now clickable and takes you directly to the Gold Exchange.
  • A small change has been made to the description of Breakthrough to clarify that it has no impact on land attacks, and only affects ships.
  • The description in the Domination window has been modified to clarify that ghost cities are also included in the total Domination value.
  • The description of the Victor of the World award has been updated so it is clear that only the first alliance to build 4 of 7 Wonders on a world will receive this.

  • Incoming attacks with Helmet of Invisibility will now only trigger one push notification.
  • The 'Simulate' button on a report now once again opens the Simulator.

We hope you enjoy the update and would love to hear any feedback you have here.

Best regards,
Your Grepolis Team

Does the ghost city clarification for Dom mean that if a live human doesn't own the city, it still counts in the total? IMO ghosts should count like anchors-- potential to count in Dom totals, but only if a live player takes it over and owns it. The city is in fact... a ghost town... adding no value to the world unless a player comes along and takes it. It makes no sense to have ghost towns count unless you're going to include anchors as well.

So we only get one alarm which is when helmet is uncovered now?

Initial launch with helmet doesnt doesnt alarm immediately?

Domination window has been modified to clarify that ghost cities are also included in the total Domination value.
Not only does this make absolutely 0 sense whatsoever, but is also highly exploitative. The reasoning to make them viable counts to domination is to me just lazy coding. From a dev team who can't be bothered to change how a ghost city exchanging hands may or may not count towards the world's city viable total. You could see how players could systematically exploit this feature to increase viable counts in a world just to screw it up to competitive players who put in the work. No wonder coming domination era, everyone sulks from how unreachable the total % counts end up being.......
