Proposal:
The Agora should be upgradeable. this would shorten the times of Victory Processions, City Festivals, Olympic Games, and Theater Plays, (Especially Theater Plays) and would quicken players would conquer/found cities, which would move the game at a slightly faster pace.

Have you Checked the DNS and PSI lists in the Archives?
Yes i checked it and i found a few which didnt pass but i they didnt have any of the suggestions i had here.

Reason:
Whilst this is not necessary, it could be very useful to larger players, and if they focused on it, smaller players could also benefit from this as well.

Details:
There isn't much behind this addition but making it easier to get cities.

Visual Aids:

The things that Paint will do. LOL
Balance:
The only adjustment to the game now would be is that a maximum city being 13716 at max would have to be raised to 13836 points. Now that we're on topic the agora points increase should go up somewhere in this manner.

No way it could be abused.

Summary:
So in Summary, the agora should be upgradeable. as you have seen the, there are many pros to this idea and only one con, which is bigger players will get cities at a faster rate and so smaller players will need to be more active or have a better knowledge of the game to catch up. and if they have that, they have overcome the only hurdle that prevents this idea from being perfect. i think that this idea will benefit all players in the game sooner or later. thats why i think this idea should be implemented.

Thanks to, A Pebble, and Horus for sprucing up this idea and making it a whole lot better!

Format. FOrmat. FORmat. FORMat. FORMAt. FORMAT! :supermad:

I love this idea so much that you best get the format SOON.

But do this:

Allow it to shorten Victory Processions. It will get you the vote of the war mongers out there.

GET THE FORMAT...seriously. I like the idea too much fro it to be wasted away.

Pebs, keep a lid on the raging will you? :p

Interesting concept, there have been ideas suggested before for increasing the Agora, but I don't think ay of them have passed. What would be the maximum level you could build for an Agora, how much farm space would be consumed and time cut down on gathering CP per level?

Just my little suggestions on horus's concerns:

Level max of agora suggestion: 10
Farm space per level: 3
Reduce time amount per level: 2% (stacks to a maximum of 20% off)

How does that sound?

Why three farm space per level? I know that level one only consumes one farm space, maybe it would be better to have the farm consumption similar to that of the cave and go up to 9-10 FS?

20% at the maximum level sounds like a good idea, this would make it an economically efficient investment. The only issue left is resources... Agora would need to consume more stone and less wood, maybe a decent amount of silver... any ideas, or should this be left up to the developers for ratios?

We should have the time-cutting apply to VPs as well, even though it is a miniscule amount compared to Theater Plays and Olympic Games, not having it would be preferential to simmers.

For a newer player it's bad enough someone with 15 cities can run 15 VP's at a time, now you want to let them speed up their acquisition of CP's? How do you ever expect to attract new players if the only way to get ahead is to join a world and be active from day 1? Leave the CP acquisition as it is, give late world joiners a chance.

I highly doubt the 20 minutes they are getting off will hurt the newbies all that much. The attacker worked hard for those BP's and I believe the only way this gets passed is to give them the discount as well (why would they want to help the simmers?).

Now for once here's a good idea that we can make profitable for Inno without changing anything in the idea to make it more interesting for the devs. The more cities people can take the greater the need for prem. features. It would also speed up Olympic games which would make more people buy Olympic games resulting in even more money for Inno. So in a way this idea benefits both parties which Inno will like and hopefully implement.

The current ways being no time discount? Care to elaborate a bit? lol

Interesting idea, although I am kind of neutral to the concept of having an upgrade-able Agora.

Summary:
So in Summary, you have seen the pros of this idea. The only con i can think of is that bigger players will go at a faster rate, not giving smaller players to catch up. But all in all, i feel that this addition would be very beneficial to Grepolis, and make a whole lot of players happy.

I don't like it, it is tough enough for smaller players to catch up, they don't need a further disadvantage.

Eh? Smaller players will benefit from this the same as larger players will, the growth path is the same for all and through the route all players will be benefited by this idea.

I said i like the current way as without the degradable time.
