urgent! Building CS and attack on it's way

Hi, hoping someone can offer some advice here... quickly!

World: Tau

I'm building a CS ship to colonise
this is due to complete in 2 hours
I've an attack inbound in 2 hours 20 mins, expected large naval presence

When sending out CS I believe you also need to send some troops and transport.
I've not got this prepared (poor on my part!)

So my issue is the CS will be ready, but without transport when the attack hits

Any ideas what my options are to save the expensive CS boat

Dodge?.... can you send CS to support another city or on a attack v weak/ghost player?

very poor timing and bad preperation, any advise would be most welcome!

No you don't need transport to support a city with a CS. Minutes before attack lands send it then. DON'T attack a city, even if its 175 points because there might be hiden troops there that might kill your CS if you attack. So you should support it.

Last but not least, don't colonise, i would advise against it. If it is your first time then fair enough.

When sending a CS on an attack, you need transports and troops. It's suggested you use LS, as well.

To save the CS, I'd suggest supporting a local city, you don't need transports for that

Actually...
You could just set an alarm on something like your cell phone (if you have one) and then get on the computer, pick a location, and send the ship there.

While in this two hours, decide the best location.
