Why shouldn't I conquer on my own island?

theres no limit. its how many culture points can you tolerate before giving up. and a quick observation its funny how every1 says 48k resources but its 96k given 100% mood for 8 farming villages per day every 2 days (speed 1 world) "diplomacy" required to be researched

1 city per island and each city must be about 1 -2 island to one of your city.
I always build offensive troops and never defensive. If I got attacked, I just conquer the attacker.

I disagree with everyone... that is why I have 22 cities on 4 different islands all cities within 2 hr transport of each other at 1 speed... Keeping up enough troops/resources has never been an issue for me...
