The object is to win the within the confines of the rules... all of which were followed.
What a person decides to do with their days is their own business, be it for the holidays, sickness, or just want to take a break for bit... if VM turns out to be advantageous to the game, that's the way it rolls. I think all of us have run into the frustrations of what appears to be running into VM, but if they want to use their days up doing that, fine, I'm a patient person. If they pay for the extra days, ok, just means the devs are getting paid for the work their doing to keep this game going.
VC is a part of the game, be it regular days of play or in the race to the wonders. Get over it.

Hold on a minute...correct me if Im wrong but, if it took you 132hrs to get your support there HB must have been active for at least some time before actually hitting the VM button, right? (I already know the answer but trying to help out the slower forum goers...you know who you are
) 132hrs is roughly 5.5 days...so you guys are really upset that you were not able to take a city in that amount of time? Really!!!??? Next time you think we are up to something just PM us and ask us where we are going to attack and the times so you can be better prepared!

Yeap, I have sent 3 132h support trips as soon as the City was up and running
the others took between 30 and 48 hours to get there roughly

NOW I remember why I have a city called "Public Forum Sucks" and stopped posting here. Way too many posts to reply to, but meh. Nice to see the GH guys/supporters crawling out of their holes to defend your "tactic".
But here's a small overview for you all, since seem to have trouble actually reading what I say:
I'm not defending TC's play here, they messed up, I know that. You don't all have to keep telling me.
I don't care that he took the city spots. My problem is with the VM.
All I asked was that you admit it was a dirty tactic. I mean jeez, how high and mighty are you guys that you can't even admit to doing this to "win"?

RHCP..... something in RL came up that has no business posted publicly, his vm had to be done and it's taking longer than anticipated, and I am finding it quite offensive to be questioning his VM, or anyone else's for that matter. It's built into the game and if it's proven advantageous, so be it... anyone can/could have done it without a personal reason and never have or will I complain about somebody in VM, it's none of my business... sure I would be "Holy Moses, they got us good!" but that's the game... anyone can can use VC as needed by their own discretion, so it's fair play.

I would say playing fair is playing within the established rules. That includes VM... whether it is before or after a conquest. What about someone that comes out of VM and without any warning just starts attacking surrounding enemies. Is that unfair? Should everyone give an announcement and wait a few days so their enemies can prepare before attacking out of VM? Yeah, right...
