Idea: Change WW EG dynamic in terms of the timeline to achieve WW Age and how it can be achieved
Current Sit.: WW EG is x amount of points of top y alliances. Once P.C. is reached, WW Age has a countdown timer to begin.
"Bug": Players/Alliances can choose to postpone WW Age by leaving their teams and thus increasing the timeline for WW Age to begin. Stopping the world from ending "on time". This can be done (I believe) 4 times before the game forces the end(?). More times than not, players/alliances that do this have already lost anyways, and the expansion of the timeline usually furthers that loss - although sometimes some alliances/players fail out and jump ship through political matters, hugathons, buddyclubs, or whatever reason to join the winning team - which usually wins regardless of the timeline expansion.
Proposal "To Fix": No more x amount of points between y alliances. Make the WW Age like Domination EG where it is a specific timeline and cannot be altered.
Personal Thoughts: We all hate hanging around in dead worlds and worlds that are clearly already won. But there's always that one team that just truly believes they can win, even though they are literally 5% the size of the winning team and have no real chance of winning. This is something that I've seen help take players out of the game. IMO, there should be no reason a WW world is extended more than a month tops - and strictly due to some crazy thing that the MODs/Devs would be very knowledgeable and agreeable on in doing (like if an entire world got banned due to glitch in system, new tools, etc). WWs should just come on it's expected timeline and run it's course. Players always get a good "breath" and refresher in every new world. Activity is always highest towards beginning of worlds. This'll allow that to be more predictable, keep more players, and ultimately the big baddie itself - more cash flow.
Any thoughts?
