Your typical grepolis world experience (what to expect)

World opens and BP starts: About 10-20 premades with "experience" will pop up some will have great coordination some will just be the noobs from a wiped out MRA. Those pre-mades will go their separate courses but will collide with each other soon. During this half week to week of no fighting a lot of things are said and the battle lines are often drawn before the end of day 3. Any decent leader is eyeing that top rank spot. A good leader is eyeing top in points and ABP. A great leader is eyeing all of those things and quickly fielding and adjusting his or her team. All while smack talking each other in the forums.

Sharks and Sheep: We quickly figure out who the fighters and who the peace lovers are. The fighters are at least trying to mobilize and fight to the top in ABP. The peace lovers and usually earning top 12 DBP. We can easily assess at the end of week 1 who is going to have a decent alliance from this point out. Most likely you'll see A LOT of shocking things in ABP rankings most of all only about half of them have the current top 12 points leaders in them and almost none of them are really high up. From then on out you know who isn't going to make the cut in the first month.

The pre-mades collide and unite: We've seen it all before a pre-made merges with another pre-made and takes on the other super power pre-made. Maybe they got into an argument over the forums, maybe they conquered a player in the other's alliance heck maybe one of the leaders is the psycho stalker ex of the other leader's and is looking to pay them back for a bad break up. Who knows and who cares? Point is action is coming and everyone is going to be ready to capitalize on it. If you're a struggling leader take notes on that because this is your once in a life time shot to predict the winner and try to work with them because this is usually the most intense war you'll see in the world and it totally dictates the tone of the world from here on out. (off topic note: Leaders and players it is a GOOD IDEA to use the externals and get the full story the more likable and less pricky of the sides is the side you want to take because it means less chance you'll get screwed down the line)

The war ends and the world slows down: alright you all had you're month or two of intense fighting and fought hard maybe you got the win maybe you lost and got absorbed into a winning team or rimmed. Doesn't matter you're entering a new phase of the world. The world is slowing down and the battle lines have been drawn by now the major leader of the losing team's side has been defeated and its all clean up from here. The remaining allies of the losing side are now getting their butts handed to them probably and you're either cleaning up that fight or fighting some struggling top 12. At this point in time the top 12 are still to be feared but their true colors are showing. The lingering top 12's that seemed threatening at first are now making rookie mistakes, losing as a 800k alliance to a 200k alliance, making fools of themselves on the forums and thus creating new enemies, or just getting conquered by everyone. Either way some of these top 12's are losing their significance to the world you're in. Feed of this as much as possible its your last shot to get to a decent size, find a good alliance, or rally your own alliance from a middle rank nobody to the top 12's.

Dominance is established and the world dies out: By now that infamous promise made at the start of every server by almost any good team "We do not pact with anyone" is long broken it's been broken since the pre-made war when the smarter side realized "This isn't going to go well with out at least one or two friends backing us". Believe me it happens a lot. The winning set of alliances is now the dominant set of alliances who won't be touching each other until WW starts and even then its pretty much too late to change the powers by very much and do much damage outside of stealing a WW island or two. By now the world has been reduced to the thousands maybe the hundreds as most players have left to try to prosper in another world. The world is dead you either are dominant and trying to claim final victory or left to play another world or to go back to RL.

Other occurrences: While unlikely there are possible out comes that shock a world and make it truly special these are the worlds you want to stick by on because they are good times win or lose.

1. The never ending war- so that pre-made war never ended its continuing and sucking more and more alliances in at this point you're either side A, side B, or getting sucked up by the two sides. Not much to say here everyone is a possible enemy usually follows with political strife and changing teams.

2. The dominant pre-made pact team has a split- One team just had its own ideas and tried to screw the other two over. Usually ends up in a long war but is probably going to be one sided if they are using under handed tactics both sides know who is going to kick the other's butt already that's why they are using cheap tricks.

3. The come back kids - Okay so its the January 1993 AFC Championship all over again the losing pre-made alliance is getting it's butt royaly kicked then suddenly *click* the losing teams rally from maybe a 35-3 conquest streak to win it all adding on tons of conquests to their records. Its unlikely but it has happened.

4. A ton of good alliances in up in one server and more are joining: This will create a ton of competition and give you all chances to learn new things and be on truly fun teams. On this world you'll see constantly changing alliance sides and interesting power shifts.

If you every get on one of these 4 servers make it count they are rare and are worth playing until the very end. :)

Hopefully everyone got a good read from this :)

It was not the AFC championship, but it was a play-off game .. and your a sorry blankety-blank for bringing it up and reminding me of it .. now I'll need therapy for the next 10 years.:supermad:

BTW, I never forgave those worthless sacks of excrement for blowing that lead, actually cheered when they left Houston, and refused to watch a single game for the first 5 years after they moved to Tennessee .. but I don't hold a grudge:cool:

Hahaha hey at least you didn't go to 4 straight Super Bowls and lose all of them. :p Or at least you aren't my favorite team the Lions. Tons of playoff qualifications and 1 win since the Super Bowl came out. Hell they get good and all of their players get the Madden Curse or are injured.
