That's actually a well-recognised tactic amongst top alliances, but it can only be pulled off if you have some very good co-ordination between your members. Props to Shady for having the co-ordination to use tactics like this.

And if you want to talk about honour, it's still more honourable than mass-recruitment.

Presuming that you are talking about the Roman Empire (the period usually being referenced when people mention the Roman army), they had an entirely professional military. That's something you don't have, which is my point. You seem to be under the illusion that you have 4 alliances of great players, and that justifies having 4 alliances. But you don't. You have some good players, I'm sure. But you don't have 4 alliances of good players. That's the point, and it's the point that you seemingly refuse to admit.

Presuming that you are talking about the Roman Empire (the period usually being referenced when people mention the Roman army), they had an entirely professional military. That's something you don't have, which is my point. You seem to be under the illusion that you have 4 alliances of great players, and that justifies having 4 alliances. But you don't. You have some good players, I'm sure. But you don't have 4 alliances of good players. That's the point, and it's the point that you seemingly refuse to admit.

I hate when someone tries to act as a smart guy and takes an example from the real life.

This is game, you sitting home comfortably, pressing just on one or two buttons, use different tools and because of being half of servers size, bump and you win or loose. You don't risk with anything and don't compare to real life where people were fighting for their homes and lives. I find it very funny.

But since you love making parallels with real life, suggesting to read and watch those kind of episodes from history where HUGE armies with not good leadership and messed army lost to just third of their sized armies.

Actually, no. It does not take experience or performance on this server to evaluate experience or performance on this server. Since you love real life comparisons: Sports reporters don't have to have played like Tiger Woods at some point to point out when he's had a bad day or have won a championship at any sport to say that a professional team is not playing their best. Critics of art, literature, even fine dining, write reviews without ever producing a five-star work themselves. Professors teach students to critique pieces that they could not themselves produce as original work -- it is indeed possible to recognize mastery before you yourself are a master.

Pretty sure the romans conquered their enemies! Or did they let them move into rome, eat their food, share their shields and ask their poor neighbours for help? Either way, rome fell and so will you, it wont even fall with outside help, it will internally rip itself apart.

Speaking of unescorted ALU, i think mac has several dozen reports of full Alu nukes from you guys smacking into a bir wall.

There is a difference between an alu nuke with attached LS hitting a bir wall that was not there an hour or two prior and an alu nuke with no LS whatsoever that can be killed by one bir......this is what I meant by unescorted. If our players did the latter well then shame on them.

The average city on noobs and shadies border....thats the base minimum you need to clear just to get a revolt and if you dont get 20 revolts your gonna sink like a rock. 10k troops haha, and please dont say but they had pegs or ill absolutely slaughter your teams credibility and "honour" with a few screenshots you have absolutely nothing, you help lead the biggest mra ive ever seen based on alliance cap.....and ive played a LOT of worlds.

Well i would have no idea what the average city has on the noobs/shady border. And why would i care? I know that the average shady city on the 54/44 border certainly doesnt have 600 fts.

I dont know why we would need to lie about having pegs or not, is that something important to you?
