Hey Ice

Would be worth a mention of the auto farm bot spams that we are all getting.

From my own experience two players whom I will not name in NAXOS received permanent bans for choosing this illegal route. Maybe it's worth letting all players known man that cheats will not be tolerated. Im sure all players playing grepo for fun would like it to be on an even playing field as they say.

Thanks

P

Get real. There's no even ground as long as there are those who can pay for gold and those who do not. It's not about even ground, it's about money developers won't get.

If you got rid of gold though then this game would go out of business.... :rolleyes: Everyone knows bots are bad anyways.

Bad because they violate... what do they violate, by the way?.. Yes, game rules. Because from the legal standpoint there is no violation of anything. And not because of their "unfairness" because it doesn't matter for the end user to whose account the money will go, to grepo developers or AFB creators.
They might be bad because the game is developers' private property and they can decide what's hot and what's not... Not sure, need someone smarter to reason why exactly they are bad.

There is a fact that they violate game rules. Game rules are set by developers. There should be some law clearly providing games developers with the right to set rules for the games they developed.

As stated in the rules;

Rules said:
The use of illegal scripts is strictly forbidden. An approved list of scripts may be found in Grepolis Forum: List of Approved Scripts.

Examples:

It is forbidden to use programs that click for you automatically, or reduce the amount of clicks you have to make.

Once again, the forum is not the place to discuss these things, if you suspect someone of using anything illegal please report them ingame through support, or by clicking here.
