  • World: Corinth
  • Browser and Version: Firefox Beta, Chrome 10, IE 9
  • Overview of the bug: The Catapults destroyed a cities wall after all the transports where killed at sea.
  • Screenshots: http://i.imgur.com/wpHp2.jpg
  • How often this occurs: So far this is the only report that has been like this.
  • Urgency: High
  • Preventative Actions Have land units to kill the harpies
  • Summary: Catapults destroy wall even after the transports holding them die at sea. I think this happens because the harpies survive which messed up the server and made the catapults kill the wall
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: yes
  • Have you tried fixing it by using these methods?: Yes

This is actually just how the game works. Even though it's not entirely realistic, the catapults will do their job even if all ships are sunk.. transports included. I suppose if you think about it the catapults are firing from the transports, destroying the wall before the transports are sunk.

As far as I know, the damage done to the wall remains the same as it would be if the transports had actually landed.. That may be wrong though.

@Corinthian II

What you say is only true if flying units escort the attack. Look at this pic and see how there's no flying units, so therefor the catapults don't harm the wall. (More lol'ing at this pic guys...)

To be specific, it's when any units survive.. as there were flying units in the attack, and no land units in the defence, they survived despite the transports sinking. So yes, I should have clarified that.. my mistake.
