The new update states

- Mythical units are now allowed to support towns worshiping their god

Was this not always the case.
Is it meant to mean that they can support towns NOT worshiping their god or am I missing something.

If it was a change I'm sure he meant they are now allowed to support towns NOT worshiping their god.

However, It could have also been a typo..Never know. ;) lol

If you have mythicals you could try supporting a close alliance member that doesn't have the same god as that mythical requires to check it out. ;)

my interpretation is that myth units will no longer be able to support towns which are not worshipping any god (to stop people stacking defensive myths from a number of different gods), but i will try get gordo to clarify ;)

apparently the only change is that you now get a report.

Mythical units that try to support towns with a different god now are accompanied by a report that their troops are being sent home.

Yes and no.
You can't abuse the bug anymore now by sending all sorts of myths to a town worshipping no god.
