What exactly is Gythium? ...looks like spellcheck doesn't know either.
I've heard of Athens, Byzantium, Corinth, Delphi, and Ephesus ..all well-known ancient Greek Sites that spellcheck recognizes. But I've never heard of Gythium, ..granted I am no history scholar. ...and could they not find anything Greek that started with "F"?

There are definately no Greek cities that start with 'F', and Gythium used to be an important port city on the Peleponnese.

All the names of this generation of world are going to be greek city states. Last generation was the greek alphabet.

Gythium was supposedly founded by a couple of Gods, though I don't remember which or how many. The city itself was mainly a port and possibly the center of dye trade for a period of time. Granted those are just my notes from my last ancient civilizations course I took. Someone else might know more, or you could look it up.
