Hello players and forum Goers,
The Heroworlds will undergo a small concept change regarding who will be able to access them and how they will work. Recently I made a clarification post called "connecting the dots" this post will be deleted as it is no longer valid. The discussion thread about it however will not be deleted, and can be found here.
This is the new Heroworld information:
What is a Hero World?:
A HeroWorld is a world that lets players start with multiple cities and has, higher level caps for some of the buildings(mine, farm...). It also features new research technologies and an extra God.

Who can play on the Hero Worlds?:
From now on everyone with the Award "heroic tactition" will be able to play on the Herowolds. This award can be received in all worlds.
The heroic tactition requirements can be found here.
How are the Heroworlds and the World wonders connected?
Heroworlds and World Wonders will not be connected in a significant way. It is not required for a world to finish 4 world wonders to access the heroworlds.
- a minor link between the HW and WW does exist, as the alliance who finishes 4 WW will receive a 50 favor cap increase on the heroworlds.

note: World Wonders will not be active on the HW.
We apologize for the confusion around this subject, however we feel that the new Heroworld access system will simplify the HW issue dramatically: Once you have the heroic tacticion award, you will be able to play on the Heroworlds. Players will now have the choice after reaching the heroic tactition award to either: Play on a hero world, keep playing their world and fight for the World wonders or both. It allows players to explore more options in the late game. The Heroic Tacticion requirements are actually only reached by a small minority of the Grepolis community which will ensure that the fundamentals of the game are known by everyone. There is no need for a tutorial on the Heroworlds, as no one is a beginner.
