How to Crush and DESTROY! (Lesson 1)

I have a friend who asked me how to crush and destroy under the following scenario.

He has to defeat:

300 Slingers
80 Hoplites
80 Horsemen

He wants to know, what is the best way to go about this?

He has asked me if he should do it in waves, ie: To first send chariots against the horsemen, and then slingers against the enemy slingers and hoplites, OR whether he should send both chariots and slingers, both, together?

What is the best way to defeat this enemy?

Of course, I know the answer, because I am the ruler of Rho (duh)..

..but for all the n00bs playing the game (who I could crush with my eyes closed), I have posted this here so they will learn.

Someone has to teach all the noobs!

Well if I were you, I would first remind your friend to look at the defense as a single unit. He needs to add the combined defensive stats of all the units and find its weakness and then attack to it. Whether it is blunt, sharp or ranged.

In this scenario though, a couple hundred slingers should do the trick :)

hops are the only defensive units among those and they are awful against ranged attacks so raiders is right. Use a bunch of slingers

Since there are no swordsmen, I would send a a few hundred slingers as well.

Slingers should take him out easily, like they said.
