Is this fair?

Hi,

I recently took over a polis that was unoccupied by an alliance. After about a day I started to get attacked by a very well known alliance and was told I took over one of his farming villages. How was I suppose to know that was his? There was no indication to let me know that the 2 were linked. Normally if you have another polis it says it in your profile.

I'm just a little peeved that this guy is not accepting to be a little more diplomatic about the situation when it's obvious he has set up a seperate email account that will feed his main polis resources.

of course is unfair but that's part of the game. I was in a similar position when I was at Tw. or course i get pwned...by an alliance called Casino,,who were waiting on a excuse to kill me.

So....you gonna get attacked...but if you resist..chances are he will call in his friends...Good luck :D

If you want to accuse someone of cheating then submit a support ticket, don't do it on the forums.

About accusing people of cheating. I thought of that thats why I did not mention any names.

Also instead of resisting I am demolishing every building in the polis and letting him have it.

problem is... is this gonna piss him off and lead his alliance and their attacks back to your doorstep?

If you're outgunned and outmanned... well.... have you ever taken a biology course? The human digestive system is built for a very specific purpose... the stomach... the small intestine... the colon.

All the parts of our digestive system are built for one purpose... and there's no sense getting annoyed when a colon is being a colon...

Was the city defenseless when you took it? Or did you actually clear any troops in your glorious conquest?

Yes I did clear a few troops. Origianlly I was only looking for more bp. THen I thought I might as well take it over if no one is doing anything. No link to any alliance.

I have not put any resources into the polis so I do not think I will be losing out if he takes it over again. The one who will be losing is the colon. lol

To the clearer go the spoils. Send them proof you cleared the city and ask that they back off. Also, try and only take larger cities that are less likely to be a farm.

hehe..scorched earth policy as practiced by the Soviets in WW2, they can't have been the first to do that however i wonder who was the first recorded in history to have done this? It was a by-product of Flavius's non-campaign against Hannibal but it wasn't an intent.

any budding Herodotai out there? ; P

What an Ambush!!!! is all I can say. I just cleared a couple hundred of his troops by sending in supporting army. I gained over 800 BP. Now sending supporting troops back and he has sent a larger army to counter attack only to find they have gone. He can have the city now that it needs to be rebuilt. LOL

Classic.

Just got to watch out now for attacks on my other city's. ;)

I and my enemy are way tooooo far from the rest of my alliance. It wouldn't be worth it for him. Plus I do know they do not wish to attack the rest of my alliance.

If you managed to conquer the city, he must have not been too actively farming it. Of course, you really shouldn't get too mad about being attacked in a war game.

Apperrantly he is planning to take me out. I say bring it on. I'll give it a good go. Lucky for my alliance I am the only one he wants.

Stathie borders on getting personal, especially in his in-game mails I refuse to respond to and even ignore. This gets away from allowable PnP and pushes communications violations...although not quite to the point I saw the need to report him myself.

Calling me a cheater with multiple accounts...I invite the game moderators to investigate that accusation...after stathie sends in a valid support ticket reporting it and substantiating the claim. This does go out of game character and isnt even remotely PnP...and unless mistaken does violate communication rules.

Perhaps I just pushed the rules or even violated them by posting this, but I believe I should say something about this matter.

If I did breach the forum rules, my sincere apologies....but I make absolutely no apology for my in-game conduct which is exemplary.
