Not a Bug Island Quest: A Threat from outside- Not able to redeem reward

The quest popped up and I chose the option to attack the 40 Slingers and 75 Hoplites. I sent an army of 30 Slingers but they all died. But when I check the quest it says 100% complete but I am not able to collect my reward.

Is it allowing you to send in additional units? If so, try doing that. It might let collect the reward after. If not, send in a support ticket and let the Ingame team review the issue.

I tried sending units many times but all dies in vain. The quest has already expired so I think I will leave it be.

I would recommend that anyone experiencing this issue (or similar) contact in game Support as soon as possible.
