Let me tell you a story

So the last 72 hours has been a touch interesting in Taras to say the least. But this morning the dust settled and the best ally left on the server got the victory they deserved. Now I choose my words carefully here, I didn't say the best collection of players but the best ally. It looked 72 hours ago that there was a chance we might come up short being fractionally behind on one of our chosen four. The four kingdoms had managed to take the lead on temple being able to fill it quicker than we could but were miles behind on pyramids, colossus and tomb. Still it could have all been theirs but the inevitable happened - politics.

Some people will believe Envemon didn't deserve to win this server (I am not one of them). The four kingdoms fell apart from my understanding because they had made a deal with demon spit which was on the face of it better for DS than the other "kingdoms" and they wanted to re-negotiate. Herein lies why Envenom deserved to win. We forced these allies together. Without anyone of their allies the race would have been dead with an envenom win already. It is frankly laughable that we were in the race given the extra favour and resources that they had to play with. Sure we had some people from Vermin and OV jumping in and out and towards the end a few from KOH but nothing comparable to the number they were able to command.

However a 4 ally coalition to push for the win with the players (and most importantly the egos) involved made it inevitable. Combine this with the arrogance of the leadership (really choosing the "winning ally name" when you haven't won a single wonder) and catastrophe was round the corner. The signs had been there before - former congregation players feeling unwanted/not appreciated (Manu Forti ghosting, Zdravko Colic briefly leaving the ally). For 10 day they couldn't swallow their pride for the win and it cost them. The best bit for me is all the city names gloating before they'd won have had to be changed back.

Finally 2 things - firstly we never talked Anabolic into wrecking your game. You're leadership managed that all by itself yes we broke your siege on him... if you stack LDU behind a level 0 wall we will come and take the BPs and cripple you that's what we do.

Lastly - Commiserations to all those workhorses who have followed along and done what was asked of them only to be let down by their poor leadership. I am genuinely gutted for them there are plenty of players on the other side I've played with before who didn't deserve this to happen to them.

no, simply no. sorry DJ but this doesnt reflect at all on the situation that led to DS begin dragged into a WW situation. The deal was never in DS favour,quite the opposite, DS could rip Serbs faces off. wanna hear what happened, ask. the 'deal' was never a DS compromise, ever... we didn need it, srbs were (and are) losers to venom....guess DS got caught up in it

Harvey Specter has been that way and on Grepo for years. Its not anything new.
Unfortunately he has value to an alliance in playing as aggressively as he talks.
However if someone does manage to take a city from him he goes away on a "business trip" without setting VM and never returns

Not sure I explained myself fully. The way I meant it was from my understanding was DS were to get 50 slots in the winning ally. Which I would see as more favourable to them as they got more of their members in as a % than the other kingdoms. Of course Serbs needed DS which is why they agreed just later they decided to changed their mind

Edit: Please sign reps if you're going to neg rep. Nice to know who it is who can't take the criticism - in response to the neg rep comment "and you're proud of that" am I proud that our small group forced a large coalition to form to try and stop us absolutely. Would you have been proud of needing a group over twice the ally cap to beat us?

I disagree massively with the "best ally" on the server got the win it deserved.

The war stats between Splash and EV speak volumes about what you deserved.

A falling out is what caused your win, that's all.

With that said, congratulations on the win a well played game overall, was fun that's for sure.

I usualy don't write here, but all I can say about all this is everything DS got from us was goten by his demands and blacmailing us the moment AH was given city on WW island.
He doesnt have nice words for you, at least all I heard wasn't nice.
Obviously he doesnt like us any more as well.
We didn't need DS, they were the ones asking desperate to help us so you don't win, not other way around.
About his demand for 50 spots he asked, it was granted by few liders, but never by all liders.
I personally said No way to that, he had like 60 members in his alliance and why would he deserve such a thing that 50 of his members be in first round.
Why did he avoid to talk to me about that??? Obviously he knew what I would say.
So when he realized he will not get that number he didn't leave or ghost as he was threatening, he kicked out player that was on WW island and then he left.
By that action he left 400 players hanging.
He is great fighter, aggressive one but so is Harvey and they are both aggressive on words.
In all my time of playing this game I never had someone blackmailing my alliance, if you have to get something that way then there is something wrong and we all know what it is.
I wonder why did few of DS players left DS, they were defending him hard and his actions+ saying he is nice guy!!!
Maybe after they saw how he spoke to SaF liders and all insults he treat/served us with, hmm!?
All in all our problems came with AH and left with him!

Envenom set the pace for expansion from day one, while fighting on all fronts. Srbijia couldn't keep up with Env. while holding hands with the majority of the server (Many of those allies were fighting Env. and only Env.) I think that is all that needs to be said about stats.

But the title says it all "Let me tell you a story" it is in fact just a story, like Cinderella. All I can go by are the facts.

Anabolic wanted everything and gave nothing from day 1. In fact there is no doubt that it did what it intended to do from the very beginning. It was planned and no coincidence that it occurs literally hours when victory was nigh. Anabolic in theory had several options to solve the "so called problems" but it fact there was only one option, the one that was planned from day one. So congratulations to both alliances in achieving your goals.

I assume he had founder rights in serbs but only kicked one person. If his goal what to make sure that Serbs couldn't win he'd have dissolved the ally. Cost you all the wonders however he only kicked Harvey which suggests it was either personal or an attempt to leave you with 1-2 wonders as leverage to work his way into EV to help us break them so he'd be there for the crown.

The second option is just as likely as he came to us and asked in but was swiftly rejected. The threats to ghost etc were made against us to but nope he's still here. I think anabolic is very much out for himself and if your goals align he's probably an asset but if they don't he'll turn on you.

Not sure as well, but since I wasn't close to my PC and had limited Net conection at the time, Harvey was the one who stud up to AH (insted of me) , as I said both are agressive on words so AH kicked him and then left.

He threats alot, as you say he is still here becouse he didnt found the way to trick you as he did us.

Well I would like to add my side of the story:

I joined Envenom early in the server, and it was not easy even then. As the months go by I have seen one thing that is true in Envenom. We played for ourselves as teammates. Literally the entire server was against us at one time and the funny thing is we weren't crushed; in fact, we flourished.

Everywhere we expanded to our enemies did one of two things, died or turtled up. I have attacked many what I would call honorable fighters (Baba, M1rza, Manu Forti, Skulduggery-Pleasant, and a few others), but mostly I would say many of our opponents are simply juvenile and deserved the fate we provided for them. I also have seen many annoyance fighters too… more than I have seen on any one server.

Envenom is and will always be the best alliance on this server, because we did this alone (mostly) and won. I have seen how SnF (or whatever they want to call themselves now) and the collation of others say that if it wasn’t for what AH did they would have won the server. I just don’t see that mathematically. Yes, they were ahead of us on only one WW that doesn’t and wouldn’t make them the winners. We still had 3 of the 4 locked in ahead of them, and 2 more in reserve also leading the build. So, I will say what AH did guaranteed us the win, but our victory was inevitable. Envenom built our wonders as a team, and everyone could see that if they looked at the alliance WW progress.

As a group of people I would like to say this about Envenom. Our leadership is interchangeable for the most part as most of us act like adults when we play this game. Mik is one of the best leaders I have seen and I am glad to see him come back in the end. Vern did a great job seeing us through the WW process even though right before it was a rat cluster orgy. If you want to put a name on the leader that helped us win just look at our team roster. Yes, we have had some drama internally, but it was usually squashed within days (with either side coming to an understanding or getting rimmed) pretty fairly.

I think what it comes down to is not that the underdog, or the little engine that couldn’t won. I think many relate us to what if the BORG or the Nazis won… I like to think it would be more like the Spartans, Romans, Celts as many of us fought completely naked and are famous for their iron long sword (BB and others), or the best Americans that saw what they wanted and took it regardless of the consequences.

I would like to personally say a thank you to a few players that make this game fun. Frukt, I could always count on you I think if there was an MVP award you would have my vote. Dom and Red some of the best fighters, period. Smokeyjoe66 thanks for the push to get me into envenom. Mik you were a jerk at times but amazingly fair, and I am glad to see you again. Lou I wish you the best in your life and I know you will grow into a great leader… just slow the drinking . Pok, Moss, Boud (my sweet little invisible angel rotty), Salty, great players always kicking around and doing something fun. Most importantly to everyone in the spam room aka Frukt’s Harem, Goat, Orph, Wilsh thanks for the good times and midget porn.
