little or no game response

My game was working fine yesterday and today I just keep watching the hourglass spin looking at the map. Has there been any changes and is anyone else having issues? I am running Windows 7 and this is the first time this has happened.

got it figured out. it was due to an update microsoft had for Active X. with the update in place, it wasn't allowing game play. this only happened on Grepolis however.
