So for the longest time many of us have been captivated by the alliance MANOWAR. They're ability to fight and be offensive is the marvel of Delos clearly. We recently had the terrible misfortune of going up against them. But thankfully we found a guide on how to be as good as them!
So without further ado here's MANOWAR's guide to attacking properly!
1. LS escorts are over rated always send clearing waves without transports: Of course its all so simple! If we don't escort our transports then they can slip by the biremes because they'll mistake them as that Phoenician guys that comes around sometimes. Lets see how that went.
Okay well that didn't work! This brings us to our next tactic!
2. Don't send clearing waves at all: This makes sense to me! I mean come on clearing waves cost troops and resources! And if they fail its even worse! Plus the cs will probably make it anyways! Check it out!
Well I know what he did wrong here! HE SENT LS!!! NEVER SEND LS! Which brings us to...
3. Escort all colony ships with biremes: Attacking with LS is way too main stream.
So we revolutionized offense by using defense! If you do this players will simply feel sorry for you and let you in! Lets see how it worked on this LD player here.
Well I see what he did wrong here! He used slingers! Don't use slingers in offense they're too weak. Swordsmen and archers are armored by the looks of them. But here's an even better tactic.
4. DON'T SEND ANYTHING AT ALL!: The smaller the attack the more likely you are to sneak past the enemy fleet! Everyone knows that! Lets see how that played out for our friends at Manowar!
Okay well that didn't work! But we have other means of getting cities.
5. Send tons of navy: Clearly biremes are the problem so if there's so many biremes in the town we have to drop tons of LS on it. It must be a bireme nuke town! So by sending tons of LS with the cs and neglecting troops we can simply destroy the biremes and maybe face militia worst case. After all there's no way anyone will support right?
Oh hey look at that someone supported him and the Colony ship bounced! But never fear they have one last resort
6. When in doubt just angrily wing it: So they're out of ls, out of troops, and heck they even burned out biremes trying to take cities! What now you ask? Why just send what you have left in the city of course! What could go wrong?
Oh right that could go wrong...Well maybe this guide isn't that informative after all. The best we see is that Manowar has no real idea what they're doing. Oh and laughs can't forget the laughs. Boy have they given us a lot of laughs lately! Guess we should have listened to those MOW guys who told us that we really didn't need to try to stop these attacks.
