it is, stop recruiting, kick all your inactives, build troops before points and clear out/take peoples cities. In know time through trial and error you will become elite and im sure rule Tau

It is possible, you just need to be ruthless when deciding who gets to stay in your alliance.

1. Set your minimum points requirement to 500 then kick all out below it(make some exceptions).
2. Make your alliance profile pro-looking, Request a professional looking CoA from the GFX and don't show your pacts. Don't make your profile like this:

4. Always require a Application Letter with Grepostats
5. If you ever broke these rules, just deny.

I lead Tau Revolution, third best alliance in Tau, for those said crap and didnt help one bit.
As for the rest, thanks, im trying to get rid of the lower 10%, stopped invites under 1000, and have began transitioning the alliance into an offensive one. Its been working great! =)
