Need Help Protecting my Resources during an Attack

I am very new to this game and im lossing my paiants. I keep getting attacked by the same idiot farming my resources. someone had told me to enlist the militia and move my troops to another city so the person attacking will not get any battle points. but how do I stop him from taking my resources. any help would be greatly appreciated

If you go to your warehouse you should see that there is a hideout capacity that protects resources up to it when you're attacked.

Get your resources below this level when you're attacked by spending it on buildings, troops, etc or you could be tricky and put your resources up on the market (market is not lootable IIRC) at a stupid rate (so people won't buy it - and if they do great!) before they attack.
