Are farming villages random? There are no farms at all on the island i started on. The island next to mine has about 6.

All spawn islands (islands where new players start) should have 8 farming villages. The smaller, scattered islands don't have any, but spawn islands should always have 8. If you are on an island without any, try the recommended bug fixes listed here, and if they don't help then send in a support ticket and/or post a bug report.

I can see all 8 farms on your island so they're definitely there.

When he reported the problem, he was the only player on the island. That might have had something to do with it.

They are all there now, suddenly appeared after about 12 hours.
