League of Warriors decide that the players to the north in Ocean 22 best expand north and push as close to Men in Tights as possible, because its fun to fight a small alliance.
By coincidence they find MiT players taking cities from a player they removed and over a two day period destroy Basils CS, and when mickeycc lands in a city, they hit it and take that city as well. Just for good measure, they attack a poor F.A.T.E. member and remove him just because he is alone and in the wrong place.
Basil tries to help mickeycc, but is completely wiped out with huge losses to his fleet.
Now, spurred on by success and due to Basil's losses they discuss where they could take a city from a player who is not inactive......
So they ponder where to strike and find a target. Basil will never be able to defend O22 Frontier, he has lost to many ships.
Now LoW launch a full attack on the city of O22 Frontline
Basil is not unprepared. He grits his teeth and prepares for the defence
Basil musters his troops on the island
He calls on the might of his alliance and his loyal minions come to his aid, the game is afoot!
and he calls on his allies in Route de la mort who send in pegasus by the thousands, supplements his naval defences as well.
Over the next few hours, LoW loose over 1700 lightships, as well as thousands of troops and transports.
and with little loss to the defenders of Men in Tights and Route de la mort, all of the attacks are wiped out. The supporters find nobody left....
Leaving LoW with egg on their faces, again........
Thanks for making the game interesting again. And to think I was looking at leaving, thanks LoW. I wont embarrass you by posting the battle reports where thousands of troops were wiped out for lack of escorts. That would just rub salt into the wound.
