War
Boom go the bombs, falling on our heads
boom go the guns, piling up the dead

Crash go the tanks, over rubble thick,
Crash go the waves, with boats full of our sick

Flying go our planes, off to Germany
Sailing go our ships, down to Normandy

Many many years, we have fought and cried
Many many times, our armies have been tried

Our allies they are many, our enemies they are too
But soldiers keep on dying, we're whittled down to few

We must keep on fighting, no matter what the cost
For liberty, for freedom, for those that we have lost

They say that we are winning, they hear the victory bells
While us, we are still hurting, from sights and sounds and smells

They think that this is over, they sing and shout and yell
But what they're all forgetting is the war from mankind's hell

We will still remember, many years from now
Wake up in the night, with sweat apouring from our brow

It never really finished, in fact it's only just begun
With all of this in mind... Who can really say «We won»?

I wish... (Blue, act 2)
You led me on, but we're at different destinations, you for who I would have crossed nations.
My trust I misplaced, that much is clear, despite that it be in all I hold dear.
I would that you felt but a fraction of this, a flame that devours yet starts with a mere kiss.
A fire that grows till 'tis all-consuming, that rises in circles, burning and searing.
I would that you knew the pain that it causes, the cuts that run deep and the hundreds of bruises
that scar my heart much more than their words, like a poor little mouse clawed by thousands of birds.
I would that you saw the cross that I bear, each little detail to show that I care.
I wish that you could, more than anything else, see that life is a gift, please don't settle for less.

Blue, act 3.
Without I feel hollow, with I feel whole
When you're far my heart stops beating, when you're near it lights up my soul
When we touch my skin is fire, my need for you is strong
My thoughts are all for you my love, for you're where I belong

I may be a good poet, I'm never really sure
Without you I'll never know it, 'cause the words marched out my door
They walked a thousand miles to put a smile upon your face
I hope that you will read them, when shadows take my place

For if you do not want me, you only have to say
But if you think you need me, don't make me go away
I want to make it better, to help you everyday
To love you and to hold you, in every single way

I know you would not hurt him, no matter what the cost
But think on what you're doing, how much you will have lost
Your heart is held at ransom, your life not your's to live
The only real question ? Who is going to give.

Blue, act 6
Hoping I'll forget you every single day,
But my memories still haunt me
They just won't go away
My feelings won’t diminish
No matter what you say
Your photo is the only thing
That I could get to stay

I'm tired, I've been beaten
I've nothing left to lose
I know that I was set up
But there's naught that I can prove

I write these words although I know
That I've already lost
I fought with honour, honest truths
So much that it has cost
Cause you believed the lies,
Those snakes who wanted blood
People who don't know me
And never really could
Not half as much as you do,
Or did, or would, or should.

I gave you all the answers
You chose not to believe
Your harsh words were like steely knives
No hint of a reprieve
You left me for another,
I found out with dismay
So now I'm hoping I'll forget you more
With every passing day

Blue 7
Reborn from the ashes of the heart you were given
Shining bright in the dark into which I was driven
By the hurt that you left here for me to face
The only thing left that could fill up the space
I wish I was lying, that there was no pain
But when the sun's leaving, you must expect rain
I'm giving you up, though you're already gone
I'm only just starting when you have moved on
It's not that I'm weak, no, never think that
But it's been stronger than I am, from right off the bat
So now I am rising back up off the floor
Throwing the pain in the closet and slamming the door
I'm done with the moping and all the duress
Wishing and waiting for a single caress
I wanted the truth, all that I've had is stress…

...

Hell, the fact is, honey... I'm still a mess.

I like this. Good message and a very fluid flow. Makes it a very easy read.

Lecture on love
Love comes in many forms
And braves a thousand storms
It is the bough that bends
Though it never breaks
It always mends
The cuts that people leave
That cause your heart to bleed
These stitches shall it weave
To protect your soul from greed

Love has not one image
But each and every shape
It may not stop the damage
But it will fix you up with tape
It is a rare thing, this love
Yet eminently common
Giving hearts the wings of a dove
In every man and woman

Love doesn't have a gender,
Nor a size nor an age
Not even a colour
A place or a wage
As long as all lovers
Are on the same page

They say love is blind
Maybe we should be too
To the little differences
You say separate me and you

That being said, I'm glad they exist
I would hate to be just like any other « -ist »
I see what you're saying, and sadly I agree
We do need that wall : to save us from thee.

Vows
When nothing seems to be going right
And the stars are going out in the middle of the night
Don't be afraid of the dark and the cold
I'll be right beside you, I'll be your hand to hold

No matter the weather, be it rain or snow
If you share my umbrella, I'll never let you go
As you are my lighthouse, I'll be your safe harbour
Your gallant white knight with your love as my armour

Just say the word and I can be yours
To prove it till my heart is covered in sores
Oh to think that a few words could ever suffice
Is an affront to the people of sugar and spice

But still I must say this, these words of my own
That out of my heart into my mouth have flown
This is my promise, this is my vow :
To love you forever, starting right here right now.

Untitled
I may not be the Doctor, I'm no fabled hero
But I'll do my best to be Rory,
To be the best man that you know

I may not have lived for thousands of years
Though with you I wish I could
And I'd stay as long just to dry all your tears

I may not be clever, I'm not all that smart
But I'm always thinking of you
With all my brain, all my heart

I may not be strong, muscled or fit
But you can lean on my shoulder
And I won't mind, not a bit

I may be a loner, I'm not part of the gang
But I'll tear down my filters for you
And may they all hang
I may not be a great talker, no philosopher at all
But I'll keep carrying on
To reach the top of this wall

I may be none of this, I may be more or less
I don't honestly know
But it’s to you I must confess :

I may not be perfect, maybe not even close
But I don't want to be that
Just who you want the most

I may not even say this, I just might not dare
Hide it away and not say a word
Out of worry that you might not even care.
