For those of you who are unaware the alliances Prometheus and Banter Squad recently merged (still under the name of Prometheus) which means basically nothing other than Prometheus still get to hang onto their fourth ranked spot in the world. The two alliances were already working closely together and accomplished nothing, so them merging just makes it easier to see their cities on the map.
Here's where the PnP kicks in I get to sound like a royal jack@!#, last night the new Prometheus, likely feeling powerful after their merger, conducted a three CS op on three Hydra cities. Nothing major the two alliances have sort of been at war for a while now but the way the op was conducted was just hilarious imo. All three attacks where on cities on the same island, however, two of their CS had a TT of over 19 hours, yes 19 hours. Obviously a 19 hour TT CS attack is easy to sniff out as a diversion attack, so just wait to see when the real attack is launched then? NOPE! Prometheus were kind enough to send the attack early (and I mean 15 hours before the distraction CS hit early), but maybe I'm wrong, maybe the other two CS attacks with the long TT were legitimate attacks though I'm not sure sending a CS with 19 hour TT on an active player is any better than sending an attack 15 hours before the distraction attacks even hit.
Long story short all 3 CS hit a wall of biremes and dlu and bp was had by all who got there in time (got 10k bp myself so thank you Prometheus). I however am not a heartless person though so I have no problem with giving Prom some helpful advice for their next attacks on Hydra.
1. Don't send a CS attack with over an 8 hour TT as its painfully obvious that its a diversion and even if its not it's pretty easy to stack the city to the brim with units to make sure that CS never ever sees the city harbor.
2. If you're trying to do a distraction CS don't send the 'real' CS 15 hours before the distraction hits
3. When sending land clearing attacks don't send just a 20 LS escort to a stacked city as those LS and most of your transports will be whipped out.
4. When trying to clear a city, send your LS nukes in BEFORE your land clearing attacks.
5. Instead of trying to clear a city with 40+ poorly timed attacks, try and time your attacks as closely as possible to the landing time of the CS.
6. Don't use flyers to clear the land units of a city with a wall level 13 or higher.
That's all for now, I could critique you on more but don't want to give you too much to digest too soon. Also new top 12 soon to come as well.
