Question: Posting Images

Hey everyone,

I can't seem to take snapshots like I did in 1.26. I want to post some things on the exterior forums. Can I get some advice?

Thanks, and I hope this is an appropriate spot for a question like this!

I'll wait for an answer on Thomas The Magnificent's question. Then I shall try to help you.

Well there are a few ways that you could do it. I'll tell you how to do the most basic way, i.e: Print Screening.

Definition of Print Screen:Print screen (often abbreviated Prt Scr, Print Scrn, Prt Scn, Prt Sc, Prt Scrn, or Prnt Scrn) is a key present on most PC keyboards. It is typically situated in the same section as the break key and scroll lock key. Print screen is shared with system request. Credits to Wikipedia.

Follow these simple steps, and I'm sure you won't go wrong.

1. Go to the page or part of a page by either scrolling down etc.
2. Now locate your "Print Screen" button.
3. Press it.
4. You have no Print screened that page or part of the page.

Note: The simplest way of viewing this print screen would be:

5. Open up paint.
6. Press "Ctrl+v" OR "Right Click and Paste"

You should now have the print screen open in paint and you can do anything that you wish to it. You can either crop it to just get the part that you are interested in or leave it or whatever. Totally up to you.

Now after that is all done there are a few ways of uploading it on the GrepoForum. These are:

- Via link OR
- Put it in your folders in your profile.

If you choose via link you can use websites such as :

-photobucket.com/

They are the major ones, BUT, if you want an extensive list of image hosting websites this may help:

Anyway dude, I hope I helped and explained it clearly enough for you.

Remember to +Rep me if I did help :)

There you go ;)

If you open up a Paint doc, then paste it, crop/edit it, save then upload it to a image hosting site :)
