well i may be a bit drunk right now but i was just thinking back about when i first started playing this world.. the purpose of this thread is to reminisce when this world was not ran by one alliance.. (we all know who that is and if you dont then quite honestly you may as well be playing a different game/world) and when it was, at least in my opinion more fun (coz there was still stuff/people left to kill)

anyway this is how im going to do it. I remember back when...

... Legions of Achilles completely ran the show in o35 and surrounding areas. right up untill we got board and those of us who where leading the alliance decided we needed a break from the domination (if you dont agree with this the numbers spoke for themselves.. under 100 members, the top 25 in o35, 4 of the top 10 in o36, 2 0f the top 3 in o25.. 4 players in top 12 BPA in the world... need i go on?) so we merged into the previously mentioned alliance (which at the time i thought was a lot more like us than they actually where...). Anyway back on topic, RIP tab, cm, garden, Zugzoo. you guys where legends and i hope we can kill some... stuff.. (keep it G rated) in the future.

posts dont have to have anything to do with mine but they do have to start with I remember back when... (unless it is a response to someone else's post) this is just a chance to rep up some players that have helped you along the way.

Very nice story Loch,

I remember when i First joined Eta, the First week had been busy, Me and a great guy named "The Dink" got along well and were on the same island. I had started off my own alliance, then we merged with "The Mob." I could see Black 2.0 starting off very good when i got offered to go with Black. I immedialty went and me and "The Dink" worked together great. He instantly was in the top 10, and was first in our ocean along with being the first or second one to conquer.

Me and him worked together numerous times and he helped me make sure a few of my colonies landed in this new revolt world. R.I.P. The Dink. He has moved on to THETA, but i know for sure i will definalty miss him and hope to kick some more ace in the future with you buddy.

Nice idea for a thread, i remember when i had my own alliance, pretty average but we then merged with Raiders, there was a very good team there, shame barrie dissolved it for no reason.

And if we are paying our respects, i say R.I.P Motive. ;)

This is a good idea for a thread, Brings more interest into world eta forums :)

I remember when I first Joined Eta, I had multiple Invite to several different alliance including Dark Fleet ( Now known as Dark Fleet Elite ) I ignored all of them and formed my own alliance "The Elite" I mailed a lot of players in Ocean 52 and got some of them to join, I wasn't even sure if we was going to survive but we did and we came out on top and owned many other alliances in Ocean 52 and from then we have been very successful :)

I remember when I first started in eta..

There were these really strong and powerful two guys that were so impressive, I just could not believe how many cities they had captured. And so I got under the wing of Joana-Lotl and learned how to send out attacks, to people who were in alliances that we did not like, and that we wanted to kill. Two days later I had more attacking BP than Amber and Maxrubner combined. What a good story.

anyways... i remeber when i was playing this game my way and enjoying my cities grow, enjoying talks with other players, then i went on this forum and it all became.....whatever......

i remember when i joined eta that SUUR gave me invitation and i accepted....i learned to play with him and if only thrill didn't acted it was his alliance we would still sail together

I was persuaded by a nut named Balvador to start on this world for a laugh.
The plan was to be here for just two weeks......
We were the Supreme Awsomeness Alliance we were going to troop whore like mad and just cause mayhem after BP was up then leave. Then I woke up one day to find he had bailed because of RL stuff and merged us into Time Warp before he left.

wow some luck.... see you get these people a lot, first they create their persona in game and then they run and casue trouble ; )

anyways since we are more relaxed i can say that i remember when i really enjoyed building my cities and stuff, establishing relationships, i didnt know it can turn out so wrong haha, the good thing also is that i have met some good people here and some bad too (hi left) but overall its like freakin WoW, just takes your life away ; )
this is not a goodbye speach (yet haha) just some thoughts of mine lol

i remember back when i started playing grepo that i was thrilled and excited that i have found a game that i can play and enjoy.....now when i hoped that i shall start in new world my hopes were crushed cause i do not have time to be here 24/7 so this is probably bye-bye grepo from me

I remember when i first joined Legion Of achillies, i went from an alliance with nothing but allies and Naps to and alliance that said, them all take on anyone you want but be prepared for the consequences. It was an amazing time and i had so much fun wiping the floor with targets on the boarded of 35/45. Never once had an attack on my city through 5 wars, it wasnt till a week or so ago that i got my first propper attack, and that was from some Deka Noob who sent unescorted transports at me..good times lads good times.

I remember the early days. The banter between the newly formed Black 2.0 and the long gone Grepolice. Great fun, and a close battle at the start. If we are really honest it could have gone either way. As it turned out Black came out on top, and stayed there. Some epic battles along the way, and some good fun wiping out alliance after alliance.

Occasionally I felt bad for some players, but I have to admit I really enjoyed rimming players / alliances that got cheeky with Black Armada as it had become.
I remember the Pest that Pendered was, one guy with lots of crappy cities who became a thorn in our sides, not because he was a threat but because he was annoying.

I unfortunately remember Black Armada starting to fall apart as more and more members were invited into what should have been an elite alliance.

I'm looking forward to playing again with some awesome players when Kappa starts.

Legions Of Achilles were the good ol days, now its just everyone allied with everyone and alot of long drawn out wars that never end. Not alot of action and a growing number of inactives with lots of cities gettin bored.
Kappa will be a nice restart
