Unwritten Symphony broke the 100 conquests mark last week and KRYPTEIA is completely dominating over Und3erword Rising. Players and alliances continue to fall like flies and one of the most controversial players to leave/quit this past week was Temeriare who after taking first place lost a city to The BP People and then the rest were internalized by KRYPTEIA. Niether he nor his former alliance cared to comment.

Interviews
Unwritten Symphony
What was the deal with xThexFreakx, why did he left as soon as he go there?
I think you should ask him, rather then me, what I saw is a player with good stats, and there are a room for improvement, when I got him over here, he message me few hours later saying he is going to next world.

What is the story with ArShark?
There supposed to be a story ? anyone who knows alec, knows that is regular stuff.

A lot of the original gang is now gone and it looks like at this rate you will soon be leading a completely different alliance, how do you feel about that?
In the first month, a lot of bleeding happens, out the original squad, we lost about 10 players, and that is very normal. Some of them will be returning later. The new recruits aren't exactly "new" people either.
KRYPTEIA
How is the war against Und3rworld Rising and Renegades going?
All the wars are fine. Thank you for asking.

How would you rate them overall?
Some players are good, and some are not so good.

Why did onlypassingmytime left?
He didn't like it in Krypteia. It's a game of free will - if you don't like it, leave. He left.
9th Circle of Hell
You guys seem to be having a hell of a time with only one city lost so far, what are your thoughts about your current situation?
And that 1 loss was merely technical -- it was a refugee (who neglected to tell us he was a refugee) that I let be taken as a warning to how we treat refugees. We hate refugees.

Why is your ABP so low?
As for our ABPs, we started later than all the other top ten major alliances. While our ABPs may seem low compared to the other alliances ranked in the top ten, our ABPs are actually climbing at a faster rate than anyone else's.
Valkyre Stormbringer
Why did you joined this world?
Well, I actually remembered about Grepo and saw this world being announced, I played it a bit in alpha/beta, but simply did not have enough time after a month or so. Tried it later on a world with a 400 or 500 alliance cap (at least very high) and ran screaming from all the MRA invites. So the settings here suited me fine, low alliance cap, nice speed, no morale and conquest (the only version during alpha/beta, only one I know). So I am actually pretty new at the current version, was used to having to send soldiers to farming villages to collect resources and scolding the neighbors for not motivating them enough. Now I can only scold them for not giving enough resources to those villages.

How is the world looking so far?
Well, for all the differences with what I have seen, the game is fine, its mostly the players that make the world/game stale, in yon olden days, only MRA's were the ones that pacted with everyone, but nowadays it seems mandatory to have more greens than reds, all to win an endgame that is pretty boring anyway. I prefer to have fun the whole time and for that, I need reds, not play sim city.
Though I think that our alliance does spice up the world, situated in the middle of the core oceans and at war (or at least not pacted) with our neighbors.

Had you not joined The BP People which alliance would've been your second choice?
Contrary to many believes, The BP People are not pre-made, nor a split off of archangels, the founding members were all disgusted by the many invites we got, made some solo alliances to show it and thus we came in contact with each other, and so we founded this alliance 2 days before BP ended and well, we are having fun that way. It is a great team and formed like I like in an alliance, good natured and all willing to take one for the team. So far tht works out fine.
If I have to choose another alliance to join, It would be entrada, those seem pretty much the same in spirit. The thing with premades is generally to many ego's together to work as a team, and well, why always play with the same people? the game hardly changes from world to world, so at least change who you play with.

Cookies or cake?
Neither.

For this section I asked players what was their noobiest mistake and this is what some of them had to say.

snotty snothead said:
My noobiest mistake was when I first started playing. Not understanding all the functions on the screen properly and not realizing I could see when my CS would land. Feeling extremely content that I had mastered the game I sent off my first CS to conquer my first city. I sent off the CS forgetting to send biremes to protect it. When I realized, I sent biremes thinking they would travel at the same speed and land after the CS but never realized that they travel faster than a CS and wiped out my own CS.
ShastaCola915 said:
my Noobiest mistake happened in Tau when I stayed up all night timing attacks to land a CS on a 500k player after it landed I went to recall the LS and slingers and instead I withdrew the CS. I lost half my attack force cracking the turtle and had nothing to show for it.
Uberskillz said:
In my Grepolis career I have made a lot of mistakes, ranging from attacking players with swordsmen in my earlier days, to founding my second city on a non farming islands, I would consider my worst mistake to be a huge misunderstanding on my behalf, It was back in Naxos when all was going well for cyclops, a ghost town appeared on the island across from me, I received a spy report on the city and was amazed to see it contained hundreds of offensive units guarded by only a few defensive troops, In a rush to kill these units in return for a healthy yield of BP I sent my slinger nuke of about 1400 to the ghost city, However I forgot one thing... this was apparent when I opened the report and my slingers had been sunk by three biremes and never even touched land... I forgot my escort, it was a bad day for me and I pledged never to be so careless again.
RAVEN-LORD said:
Getting distracted by the kids and forgetting to pull the support I had defending a city which I had a CS on the way to. Logged in expecting to see a siege only to find I had crashed into my own bireme stack.
D.DAY said:
Hitting and killing my own CS in a mix up with the anti timer. I was in a rush launched and went to get pist. Next day expected to be conquering instead I got nothing.

Not sending biremes with my CS and getting taken out by 4 LS after my CS landed.
gtime888 said:
I sent a CS without light ship support only troops and transports got killed by 1 bireme.
lemmolokk said:
Sending all my conquer stuff, not realizing my birs where traveling faster and having my birs and support land before my conquest and killed all my own troops when there was not one troop in the city.
Luliac said:
Attacking my own support. I had sent some defensive units to keep an eye on a city I had planned to take. Later, I planned the conquer only to be rejected by my own defensive units.
Epulon said:
Well my noobiest mistake would be the standard "attack instead of support" i guess, did it on my very first CS attempt and sunk my CS.
Cyaphas said:
My first revolt world- we had a player leave the alliance and quit so I was taking one of his cities. The CS TT was 16 hours. So I sent my revolt attack, put the city in revolt, but fell asleep and missed sending the cs in time, ok it happens, no big deal. I go to resend- send the revolt attack which is 4 hours tt, and 5 hours later I send the cs- awesome great timing- except since I know the city is empty, I only send 5 ground units with the revolt attack- they die on the wall and I didn't revolt the city. Have to wait the 32 hours round trip for my cs... send again and this time I send everything and the kitchen sink, I refuse to fail it. The Grepo gods clearly felt bad for me because someone was hiding a small ls nuke in there, which I promptly get to remove with revolt and after 3 tries and over 5 days of trying, I take the city.
Gunner025 said:
I organized CS operation once, half of alliance was involved with attacks and supports and at the end when I should send CS I figured that I didn't research conquest.
Kumquat said:
My noobiest mistake was sending my cs as another revolt attack(instead of as a regular attack). duh! All that did was reset the clock back to the beginning. I did get my cs back as I'd cleared the city but I had to wait before I could resend it and take over that city. Essentially, I put the city into revolt twice. sigh.
Peek-a-boo said:
I sent a CS on a 36 hours journey - but got distracted somehow and forgot to revolt the city... another good one was when I launched my CS attack and forgot to fill the escorting transports with troops.

Timing my CS to land two minutes before Red Revolt.
Dolphin Safe Tuna said:
Middle of a huge fight on another world I forgot to send LS with my CS. Not the biggest mistake but the costliest. Felt like a D-bag for a few weeks.
DizzyDinosaur said:
My noobiest mistake would be sending all my defensive units with my attacking units and colony ship, without know what was in the city I was attacking first.
wuck1 said:
Sending a CS as support instead of attack.
RizzoTheRat said:
I was under attack so sent my troops and ships to a ghost town next door to me on the same island. It included a CS so I ended up taking the Ghost town as soon as it landed.

I forgot to read the time of a post on the alliance forum and I said "Bad Idea" several hours late. I got kinda awkward when everyone called me out on it.

First world when I played, I attacked my teammates, and so I was kicked out after a few days.
hangtownhero said:
I attacked a fellow alliance member instead of sending support. Fortunately for him and unfortunately for me I lost my entire "supporting" force.

When I sent a "friend" all my troops for support, woke up the next day, and found a CS in my harbor that was not mine.

Asking for support when it was a quest attacking me.
BewsZed said:
I had to face a large wave of clearing attacks once upon a time. It was futile so I sent away all the resources I had. I planned to send massive resources on my city right after the trains attack, but I messed up the times, so the enemy got away with a bonus of 20.000+ of each resource and a heavy dose of RAGE.
DefectedUnorthodox said:
Using archers and swordsmen to attack, because archers and swordsmen sound like they're bad (I did clear the city).

Sending transport ships without clearing biremes.
Acadiaan said:
I had no large farming targets on my island, so sent out up to 1000 land units to farm inactive cities - with a small light ship escort... It worked great until I hit a bireme wall and lost the lot! Took ages to rebuild and get over it.
Pete Dunham said:
Sent a 40 hrs tt attack on a guy... no ls escort. just around 700 ldu...
went on enemy alliance profile and found the weakest guy there and just launched...
important to say it was my first time playing (also under different name) I was about 11 I believe and didn't even know hot to call it back.
PipiCarapic said:
My noobiest mistake was when I sent an attack with 800 swordsmen that I didn't know that they are defensive units. Sent them without escort and all died of one bireme.
Last Saturday night, I went out drinking. And when I got home, I got on Grepo. I don't remember much about what I did while online. Just that I wasn't online for very long. I couldn't see straight, and was struggling to do anything. so I logged off. The next day, I launched a CS, and made a thread in the forums. When my CS landed, in what was a previously cleared city, had a bunch of troops in it. I barely made it in. Turns out that I had somehow managed to accidentally change the time settings to UTC London the night before (that's an hour behind). And the troops in the city that I was CSing, was the support for the siege from my alliance. I still have no idea how I ended up changing the time settings.

I started in Olympia nearly two years back and joined an alliance. Happy days, learnt loads, realized that most people, friends and enemies, are pleased to give advice when asked respectfully. Soon there was war and the usual selection of moaning on the forums.
Whilst I was away in VM I got a message. 'WE are fed up of the wallet warrior who is dominating this world unfairly so we are all going to restart in Gela - follow this link."
So I quit and went to Gela as instructed and took the opportunity to change my user name.
THEN FOUND THERE WERE ONLY 25 OF US WHO HAD MOVED. Not only that they were all the whingers who thought they could attack anyone who moved so by the time BP ended we were at war with pretty well everyone.
NEXT I DISCOVERED THAT THEY WERE ALL STILL PLAYING IN OLYMPIA so didn't have time/focus to play in Gela.
Fortunately I was given an escape by a kindly alliance who eventually merged into Krypteia. Having been on a couple of other worlds and seen some other alliances I realize now that my noob mistake led me to a very well organised alliance.
