In penance for a grave sin Heracles was tasked to complete 10 Labours as penance by King Eurystheus. Some examples are the slaying of the Stymphalian Birds and capturing the Cretan Bull. Each of the 10 Labours varied in their content and forced Heracles to utilize all his wits to accomplish them. In this competition, should you choose to participate, you will be placing yourself in King Eurystheus's boots and assigning Heracles an additional Labour.
The competition:
Players have to write up their own Labour that Heracles completed, as a sort of addition or parody to the original labours from greek mythology. The submission can either be a serious story or a funny one. No limit on length. There will be a 1 week submission period followed by a voting period where all the submissions will be put into a poll or series of polls depending on the number of entries.
Rules:
- 1 Submission per player
- No changing your submission after you have entered it
- No campaigning for votes
- No creating multi accounts to boost vote total
- No revealing which entry is yours
Prize:
1st 1500 Gold
2nd 1000 Gold
3rd 500 Gold
Submissions:
To submit your entry simply reply to this thread with your Labour. You will not be able to see your submission once you reply but neither will any other players. Only I will be able to see your entries so there is no need to panic and submit it a second time. The deadline for submissions is 1 week from today which would be August 16th. Voting will start afterwards.
