Dear players,

One of our commitments this year to the communities was to work on the balancing issues of Grepolis. We have been silent for quite sometime in this topic, but now its time to talk about this.

Re-balancing a game like Grepolis is not an easy task and it really took a high effort and a lot of time to start introducing theses changes. Today we announce that the first steps are been taken.

With version 2.70, the new balancing will be available on the beta community, on the 9th of September. The new balancing will be implemented on all running worlds, as also one world will be started. Our goal is to see how the new balancing will work on all stages of the game.

After extensive testing on the beta community, for a period not shorter than 4 weeks, we plan to migrate the new balancing to the Dutch (NL) community, again on all worlds. However, it is not sure when this will happen, all we can say for now is that it will not be before 4 weeks of running on beta.

With the combine feedback from the Dutch and Beta community we will decide if this will become live on all other communities.

The new balancing will always be active on all worlds, due to maintenance reasons it is just not possible to have 2 balancing systems in the game.

Please note that the new balancing system is a big change into the game! So everyone’s opinion is highly valued. For that reason we urge you to test this new system in the beta community.
