1 mil+ point players

and any ways the only reason i put a point limit (i could have said something lower like 400k, but sometimes i ask when people are experienced and people who have 50k points in worlds tell me that they are experienced players and frankly i dont think that deserves being called experienced, because experienced means you know all types of the game, including multi city fighting which you can not experience on full scale (in my opinion) until you get at least 45+ cities (approx 400-500k depending on average points)

Couple people joining PB have reached 1 mil in other worlds

Yeah like Soc, Milos, and Manos (I think he hit it)
as far as i know, just soc (i stand to be corrected here though)

damn, i guess i've never experienced multi-city fighting then since i only had 41 cities in xi :(

it sounds like fun, maybe one day when i'm not noob anymore i'll get to experience grepolis properly.

Anyone by reaching 1 mil it does not mean your experienced

LOL. Yea...like those noob players that get to 1mil points by attacking with swords and sending unescorted transport ships. They are so good! but they don't have experience =/

HOW DO THEY DO IT?! mind blown...:heh:

so many noobs think the more points you have the better you must be...

I'm pretty sure if I hit my *** off the keyboard 24/7 for about 5 years that I'll have way more points than most people in this thread.

There are players on gamma with 2 mill + points :O, personaly that would be too many citys to tend for a self proclaimed dosser like me.

^^

Although it obviously takes some skill to tend to around 100 cities, I think BP or conquests are a better measurement for skill.

had to move residence. had trouble getting internet right away and decided just to pack it in. my first world and my first alliance i ended up leading. i only got two #2 in that world though. my second world and second alliance was much more fun.

having 1 million points means you have experience. having experience doesn't mean that you are any good at this game though. i've played with people who had a year or more experience who couldn't tie their own shoelaces in grepo terms. numbers are really only numbers. they could mean something or they might not.

Yea, but then again ive seen players with 35 cities, who claim to have experience and are good for their level, but then you gift them an 80 city account and they go crazy because they dont know how to handle it

100% agree BP is a better measurement of skill. Account points just means you didn't quit. Given enough time sim players can get very large. Skilled sim-players will get a city every 2-3 days

I'm thinking of joining and yes, i am a 1 mil+ point player , in both categories

for the record i view sim-players as having less battle points then account points - while the first 10ish cities this might not be true. it should start evening out after that.

You should probably also look at colonizations versus conquests. There were quite a few players in Xi that got so big by colonizing and simming, colonizing and simming.

One of the "experienced" players in the top 20 in Xi I was able to take 3 cities off in one day. The most protection they had in any of those cities was 5 biremes. And no one else was attacking them. If that's what we're talking about with good players, then I hope there's a lot of "experienced" players that are joining Corinth! :p
