my question:
Would you colonize an island next to an enemy's WW island if there was a player from another alliance on the island you're attempting to colonize? (Meaning your own alliance couldn't take all 20 slots on the island because someone from another alliance [a much larger and more powerful alliance] is already on the island.)

I wouldn't do it, but then again i consider myself fairly intelligent. Although i think this more of a common sense issue rather than an intelligence issue. But some leaders aren't the most rational strategists in the game to begin with.

i can't wait to read the turd-bashing letters after this post! sling the mud, let's see those excuses! ;-)

Greetings to you all here I see some things have changed, some has not, the KoM bashing..and exe isnt even on here anymore lol. Honestly I wanted to speak for KoM as it seems my guys dont come on here as much anymore. If this world was to end today there are guilds that will be remembered on how they played the game and conducting themselves in the game..We can say DW,LEGION,APA,KoM would round out the top 4 in that order. DW was smart when they did the merge and how they play the game, I can say the guys play with honor and have some moral of in game conduct..Legion is the biggest guild in the game and I dont see it changing before the server ends and they do have some warriors within the guild, but lots of in actives as well. Then we get to good ole APA, you could say the way they fight would make them close with DW, but lets face it, the complaints about how cities are taken, the back stabbing nature of the guild, and the fact you get others to do your dirty work is not a sign of greatness and you all will be remembered by it. To complain we take in actives when you all do the same is hypocritical, to kick out players while in revolt is as well. I dont care about the stats and I wont complain either but if you want to say we only got 11 cities because of all the others were in active then I can say 70+ of you all cities taken were form outside core players..players we took in during a merge that we really couldn't defend..oceans 56.66.65..if you look at stats isn't that where most of your conquers came from?? So please stop with the excuses on why you all lost cities. I learned the excuses are lame, I don't even care about the fact you all back stabbed us and had a op planned and took 30 cities in a week or so, it happened..

Second you all colonizing in ocean 45 was a tactic I have never seen in a game this early in, I mean I couldn't see DW doing this to come into oceans 45 to attack legion, they would just fight their ways in. You all doing ops with ME and swearing up and down you all never were in league with each others also shows weakness. Get who you must, but be honest and say you all are attacking with ME, you might want to thank them for a lot of your cities taken as well as its hard to defend against 3 when you are 1 and yes 3, although DW has not done a major op, they do still attack. This brings me to my last comment, With the colonizing, the implementing of spies in my guild (you admit it), I dont implement spies by the way, I am old fashion world Alpha player, we just like to beat you fair and square, but I do understand some newbies and there tactics, getting ME to help in attacks, all these tactics you all do..why? if this 60 man guild is so weak compared to you all?? why all these tactics, take a page out of DW book and fight us head on, dont do the wimpy colonizing effort, dont ask your spies the plans, dont get ME to support or attack..just march into ocean 45 and take our cities.

That by far is possibly the best declaration of war I have even seen in the server. Seriously vallenteno you gave me shivers. Very well written. I cant wait to see how this play out.

But on other matters, i have not had any direct contact with KOM, as well how they perform as an alliance. But just with the respect that APA has from me, and your ability to still be around after so many alliances attack you. I commend you and your alliance.

DW main focus is clearly with 13th. But I love hearing how the wars are going with other alliances. I just check externals and see who is winning.

But as pawn said we have not had on OP or even declared war on KoM but yes I see some attacks back and forth which is to be expected due to location and sheer boredom.

However our tactic is to take out the active players as a priority for the simple reason it is more fun but we do take inactives when the oppertunity arrises. I know other's take inactives and I have myself but there is no shame in that as much as I might argue it

But even though we all argue here I do have respect for you guys as exe0 knows from our convo's....but yet here on the forums I will keep proving him wrong and to be a noob

how is it hypocritical? i said we'd take an inactive too, and we have. you're a fool if you don't. i said most of the cities you have taken were from our inactive players, which is the absolute truth. if you're going to paraphrase anything i say, then please get it right.

not making excuses, mate. i even gave kudos where they were due. if your alliance is attacking and threatening to take an inactive player's city (one who isn't coming back), then hell yes i'm going to kick them. no need to show a lost city when we don't need to. and again with the backstabbing. how long are you going to bear that cross in an attempt to garner sympathy? this is the last time i'll say it, you screwed us first, so now we're screwing you...to the very end. deal with it.

Ops with ME? hardly. we're the lone wolves with a phenomenal diplomat who helps us establish great relationships outside of our own alliance. if you're getting nailed 6 ways from sunday, then maybe you should adjust your strategies. if we run a joint op on you, there will be nothing left of you, personally. you'll be rimmed. plain and simple. no threat, no empty promise, just a fact of Grepo life, pal.

spies are a profession as old as prostitution, it's part of real-life as much as it is in-game. if you choose not to use spies, that's totally up to you. i applaud your chivalrous mindset, but sympathize for your players because you have no vision, no direction and you won't step outside of your comfort zone. it's like you can't see the forest for all the trees.

again, mate, we don't run joint Ops. if you're being attacked by 3 different alliances at the same time, then that should be a sign that your alliance isn't well-liked, or something. as for calling us "some newbies", you might be onto something there. but those noobs in our alliance take their orders from the veterans. like me.

lol, seriously? brother we've taken you head on and you're no match for us. we've proven it time and again. your obvious lack of understanding of military tactics is apparent. i really do sympathize for your players because they're fighting your personal war and will gain nothing from it. you have a few very, very, very good players who are capable of so much more, but they're not going anywhere. they're just spinning their wheels staying in one place. i hope they wise up and move on to another alliance. it doesn't matter which one, they just need to get away from your alliance, dude. either that, or you may want to step down and let someone else run it. i just don't see how your alliance will survive to WW.

I wont tell the history of this war, we can go back and forth all day, and you picking out every line and making this longer then it needs to be is lame and take away from the points..While you try to recruit my ocean 55 players with no avail and tell your own players why we are supposedly at war shows your character. We back stabbed you all first..so we attacked out the blue?, I will always keep this in others mind to see how you all operate and this is how you all jump started on us point blank, most guilds here give a 48 hours peace before attacking allies..why you all didnt..think of something clever or pick my sentences out 1 by one so others can read all the rubbish while you dance around the question..

This is a game and I dont take it personal because we are on different levels personally, game wise, strategy wise, honor wise, we are night and day bro. My guild is not fighting my war, I was on VM when you all snunk in on us..how is this my war lol. Im glad you said you all used ME hardly..the word itself tries to deflect your true meaning..meaning yes you all did, oh but maybe not all the time. Yes we are different leaders, me and you Turd, you lead a guild that befriends players and guilds and secretly sets plans in motion to attack,(oh we did it first) if this was the case Turd why you messaged me when you all attacked the first time about letting it go and let us continue to be allies??please dot lie and say you didn't, was that to set this plan in motion because I think we both know if we saw this coming the outcome would be different. Anyways as I was saying in how we lead our guilds, I lead mine against 4 enemy guilds, 3 of them being in the top 5 of the server, I try to preach honor and yes chivalry and respect my enemies and never had any issues with other enemy leaders except you all. This is the truth Turd, played over 5 years in this game and never had a bad rep with enemies and allies and again never seen this willow(flowers) lol, colonzation you all are doing at this stage..This war is far from over, I told beez if you all want to rim us out of this server what you all must do,,its the only way, you will need more man power bro, so get those lips puckered up to continue to recruit my guys who are so devastated here, keep sharing info with ME about attack times and such, keep colonizing, hell keep doing it the APA way bro, its got you all this far

Must say as time goes by I like *kom* more and more, even if they do have noob stars in their name. I still think apa is one of the best if not best alliance in this world (even if they do use spys). That being said if I like apa so much I hafta like kom. Especially if apa is getting defensive support from 13th like turd said they have. They are one alliance I can say is playing a war game. Kudos where they are deserved now please stop bringing up the same old past Val.

No i will tell you if your spy is doing there job and seen my mass mails and forums, we are not heavily defending our otter cities..your spy didn't tell you this?? we are ocean 45/55 based..I think I mentioned before how you all take ocean 56.65.66...if I didnt then ill say it now,,its about 70+of you all cities total..stats and numbers don't bother me, city losses happen in wars, the war is not one by stats,,its duration..America knows this well in the Vietnam war, we thought we were whooping , fighting in another mans country and land, until the minority started to overcome the majority and eventually kicked Americas butt, only if our generals had your mindsets, they could of built straw huts right near the Vietcong and lived there then attacked then during the night..kind of like how you all colonize,..where did i proclaim my greatness?? excuses, i just simply countered your whining on how we got our cities, you took one today and we took one..so what, we take ours near you all in battles you all take the rim around no one..so what..didnt say you had plans either, i just know you better have some real plans if you think you or your guild will take us out the server,,,you need help Turd point blank and i want bring up the past again, the players i wanted to know and see it already know how you are,.,,you brown nosier you.

We here respect DW and guilds that fight as you all do, I dont recall ever hearing anything sneaky or negative about you all, we are enemies for sure and we are allies to legion and aid then the best we can, but you all have fought us with honor, and im sure we will be back on the regular op list from you all soon enough lol

what your stats don't tell my friend is the assist you all have gotten while us being at war with others, nor the times we failed to take cities and a certain alliance not mentioning names according to greo stats DBP rise?? not sure how that happens when this guild only enemies is us?? but maybe the stats are wrong..you seems to be a big stat man,,you live and die about it..which is good i guess, not sure how those stats are going to win the war?? you can take 200 cities, but if we still hear to have this convo you not doing the job, especially if you have others helping..im just saying

To be honest im been ready and waiting for you all to try to rim me out this world, I didnt feel like leaving and was very happy here until I almost puked when I saw that island yall did. I was telling a few leaders its time for me to go and maybe start another world lol. Honestly RL is really getting busy as I told you about school, but I get on the game because its fun, even in losing. As I stated I never had any real issues with players or guilds in this game, and I fought many type of guilds, but that stunt you all pulled really took the air out of the game. I like to fight, when needed to, and be diplomatic first, all we ever wanted was a fair fight, and hey yall beating us up, but its one sided.still I was excited about logging on and fighting all 4 guilds in this game..but when I saw this...after the puke sensation came laughter, then disgust again..but hey its part of this server..I may venture to others or get players ive known in other worlds to all go to one server and fight like we uses to before this game became so popular and gold was not used as much to achieve greatness...

I dont want to leave my guild, maybe something will spark me..hmm maybe if others fall back and lets us fight..no support nor attacking, besides what is ME in a war with us for..really?? the guild is divided over this war, some say no, the ones that dont want to attack fear you all getting mad at them...sad it is

You are aware that kicking these inactive players out means no difference, right? It would basicly be the same as America giving away hawai since it is hard to defend in their eyes. By kicking these players you might save your stats, but doesn't it still mean a free city for your enemies?

I guess I'll add my two cents to the great discussion going on all day. I'd like to start by pointing out that Val is doing exactly what he's blaming TW for. He has never addressed the whole truth, just part. KOM made peace with Nightfall behind the backs of both APA and the 13th. After the fact, they tried to cover it up and do damage control. Everything else is just details. It doesn't sound particularly noble does it?

The current war has been interesting and fun. Both sides take inactives, it's a fact of this game and I don't know why anyone really mentions it. More important than the inactive cities, there have been several cities taken from active players that only received token support. The impression I gather is that the KOM elite only look-out for a select few. This can only get worse as more inactives come out of VM (several have been in VM for going on 2 months). His situation has been further exacerbated by the maltreatment of the Legion of Ares (formerly squires of mayhem).

I have to say that I don't have a clue why Val thinks there's been any concerted effort among KOM's enemies to conduct joint operations. It hasn't happened, and probably never will. For the most part KOM's enemies have been coming at it from different directions (except overlap in O65), and have been hitting different cities. And although alliances may be pacted, or have a NAP, it doesn't mean they aren't competing to conquer the same cities.

Last and least I'd like to ask Val why he bothers to voice his opinions on the external forum? If you are trying to add your perspective and perhaps persuade yor audience how you're right and TW is wrong, may I please offer some assistance. If you really are on the debate team, you probably should focus more on the modes of persuasion. Based off of the posts I've read over last 6 months or so, you really need to work on improving your ethos and logos. It is really hard to persuade anyone of anything when you consistently a) communicate half-truths, and b) fail to assemble a complete and coherent sentence. I never would have mentioned this (obviously because I don't know what your first language is), but as you're on a debate team I feel this would be the perfect venue to polish your skills. Sloppy writing erodes credibility as fast as lying.

I hope I didn't make any grammatical errors, the auto-correct on my IPad is horrible.
