What is the point of "war" and "allies" when all you can do is farm? Experience means little to nothing here.

It's like SimCity reinvented and thanks :) , anyways the only experience i could see using here from a defensive standpoint is dodging and sniping. From an offensive standpoint, timing and knowing what troops to send to eliminate the defenses in the target player's city (or cities). This is all stuff a single player could do very easily with enough practice no matter the strength of the attacker. Therefore wars and allies are technically pointless. Correct me if i'm wrong.

this is the first non conquest world which obviously was not really thought out all that well. Hopefully next world they make non conquer will have higher speeds, lower alliance cap, and some new features that would enhance the experience of a non conquer world.

I submitted an idea that was unfortunately rejected because the programmers are not accepting ideas for new worlds, you know because they are doing such a good job coming up with them on their own cough*....

Anyways in my idea I suggested to make the world a non conquer world but with some added twists.

One twist would be that once every so often the world would enter a season when the conquer system could be enabled. To enable the conquer system you would need to type in the alliance name who you choose to declare war on of which you could choose more than one. By doing this, declaring war, you would activate the conquer system on your members and the members of the alliance(s) you have declared war on. You could try to live the simmers dream and not declare war on anyone but that would not keep you safe from other alliance(s) who can choose to declare war on you! The upside to this for players who enjoy the non conquer system is that the conquest season would only last a short period of time maybe a week or two.

Another twist would be that ANY alliance(s) that have either initiated a declaration of war or have had one declared on them would also have thrown ANY alliance that they have a Pact with into the conquest system thus making their towns conquerable during the duration of the war.

Another twist would be any player who is either with or without an alliance and does not have the conquest system activated during this season who attacks or supports a player from an alliance that has the conquest system activated would automatically throw their whole alliance into the conquest system! Thus causing the new world to live up to the name I gave it "World at War"

There was more to it then just this but this is the gist of it. It could still be found in the idea forum if anyone wants to check it out and post there comments on it.

I liked the surrender feature idea better. It goes with the spirit a bit better, but allows you to yield cities

the surrender feature is another one that I would like to see implemented in a non conquer.

I don't suppose that discussing how to further improve a unique world's settings is againt the rules if we do it here. Let's make a new thread
