Hmm...what about minor gods? Say, each god then has two minor gods that you could progress on? When you get to a high temple level, you could choose an additional minor gods to worship. You would get an additional power, as well as an additional unit. They would share the same favor. I don't know. Just a thought.

I was just giving a rough idea. i came up with it in about 5 minutes, so I must have made some mistakes. Of course, in the Hero Worlds, some people will be able to have 550 favor, so the spell that destroys 3 buildings, could be 550 favor.

How can nobody else notice how overpowered this is? 27 attack strength per farm space without the need of transports? Manticores have 21 attack per farm space and they require 405 favour let only the 10 that you said. Imagine how quickly you could produce this unbelivably powerful nuke.

ProposalThe basic idea is that the devs could possibly mix and match Gods in future worlds that are released to give players an array of options and keep the game interesting. There are 12 Olympian Gods: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Hera, Aris, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hermes, Artemis, Hephaestus.


I think it would add a nice new dimension to this game. If this game is as similar to TW as we all think, sooner or later, we're going to have like 40 worlds. Who wants 40 worlds with Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, and Hera? Sure they can change the speed/alliance limit/other minor changes, but that's boring, since most of us, who have played tribalwars, have already experienced all that. This game really should not turn into Tribalwars The Greek Version.

Summary
This idea will add flavor to the game. Grepolis holds enormous potential and promise, but after 20 worlds, or even less, I'm sure players will become tired with the same 4 gods in each world. Adding new gods, new images/graphics, new divine forces, will liven the game up more in future worlds.

Phoenix is a nice idea...but just as a side note, this is not a typical greek mythical creature, but rather egyptian.

I think there are tons of ideas for new gods. For example "Haephastus" and as creature his automaton which self repair or talos unit.
