I never played TW. So let's see. . .

Anything resembling a Spartan is out. . because I haven't seen a decent alliance with "spartan" in it yet. . . lets also rule out things that include:

Gods
Ares and Zeus specifically
Mythic monsters
Titans
Olympics
Homer

. . .At that point, if you were going to stick with the Greek theme you are stuck using actual greek, lesser known plays (first generation hero's), or the various league's.

Or you can just go with antiquity and go with Latin or Egyptian/Persian. Egyption/Persian has more to do with the time period.
