Update to Version 2.269 Discussion Thread

On Wednesday the game will be updated to version 2.269. If you have any questions or feedback about the update please share them in this thread.

Dear Community,

On Wednesday August 17th Grepolis will be updated to version 2.269. As always there will be a brief downtime while the update is applied.


Relevant for Beta testing:

  • Notifications: Browser notifications are now enabled and can be turned on/off in the settings screen.
  • Old Farming Village: The simulator now preselects units based on the window where it comes from, not pre-selecting them anymore.
  • Fixed a bug where sending an award does not change the time of previous messages anymore.

Additional User Story Improvements

  • Hyrbid App: The Install App quest can now also be full-filled when the player uses our new App
  • Hyrbid App: We introduced larger header buttons so they are easier to tap
  • Divine Trials Event: Several features and improvements for the new upcoming 1-week event were added

Additional Bugfixes

  • World Wonders: The entire text when leaving an alliance is now fully translated.
  • Hybrid App: We fixed a bug that added a building twice to the queue when upgrading

Buttons missing to minimize and close most of game windows, this is a senate. Also happens in military buildings, forum, ranking, profile and probably many others

Display errors like this are usually fixed by either clearing your cache and refreshing or turning off scripts as those sometimes break after an update.

Back in May, update to version 2.262 messed with the zoom. Will this issue be addressed at some point?
