No IG mod of the world can't join it. As far as I know a forum mod has nothing to do with that :S

I'm curious to know, how do you know somebody is 18+.

According to the government, I'm 46 :O They will never know THE TRUTH.
Actually, I'm 21. I just look really young for my age. I use that stuff they advertise on TV.

Most people who are past the age of 18 see no reason to lie and say they are younger than that. So, there would only be a problem if someone younger lies about his age. People who are 13 or 14 may be many things, but capable of the degree of subterfuge necessary to maintain a lie about being 4 or 5 years older is not one of them. If a 14 year old did lie about his age and did actually manage to become a moderator, it wouldn't be very long before we'd have our doubts about his honesty. And the door isn't far away.
