Greetings, fellow players.

I have come here to discuss on a topic. Would it be possible for me to build 500 slingers and 250 horsemen in my first city ?
You must be thinking that it's not wise to build our first city offensive. But, due to some circumstances I think I should go offensive, as most of the high pointers near to me and friendly and often help me to clear someone and getting resources.

So, would I be able to build 500 slingers and 250 horsemen in my first city ? Or I would only be able to build 400 slingers and 200 horsemen ? Or lower than that ? As far as my activity is concerned, I am busy but get a lot of resource because of a huge number of farms near me and from my personal allies placed near to me. Also, there is no one in 5 islands radius who could attack me.

Usually fulyl built city (only buildings majority does without thermal baths BUT WITH plow) has roughly 1500-1700 population .... so i see no problem in you not being able to muster that thats generally worth 1200 farm space... but you would have less ships then (especially offensive ones) and remember if you dont have enough ships no land army is big enough lol

Typically I make land nukes of 1500 pop with 50LS as an escort and enough fast transports to move them around. So yes it is possible to do what you were asking

Thanks for the replies friends. Yes, I know that without navy a big army is just useless. So, could you tell me how much should I build for my offense so that I have enough FS for transports and LS ? Just give me an approximate value if possible.

Well if you wil lnot specialise (as destroying senate etc) then i guess rough values should be

850 FS on offense units

Then enough Transports and rest on LS, and a couple of biremes (need 50-80 LS)

It would be great if you could just tell me the values in the exact number of units, like x number of transports, LS, slingers and horsemen.

Why, do you have lvl 40 farm yet?

Youll see as it flows we cannot make you army compositions for you, you have around 1500 free population without PLOW (+200) and Thermal Baths (+10%) you know that hoplites and slingers take up 1 free pops space horsemen 3 and FTS 5, LS 10 and Biremes 8 is it that hard to do the maths yourself?

Someone makes more resource buildings = less population or makes more temples, markets, harbor, barrackses.... we do not know your FINISHED build so we cannot give you EXACT numbers

Also last farm takes around 56h to build ... on speed world 1.

As I am a bit new to this game. Is it wise to fully expand your farm for troops or a bit only ? Till which level we should generally expand it ? Level 35 ? Or 30 ?
