In one month Garyjoe will finally make it to first place.
He's the #1 attacker and is finally pulling in some defensive points, so doubt anyone will be able to overcome him in one month.
As for the others, it's hard to say.

1-Think of degrading comment
2-Look for evidence to support your claim
-If successful, progress to 3, if not start again at 1-
3-Make sure it does not also apply to yourself
4-Post a message with that evidence to support it.

It's quite simple, however can backfire if you don't get #3.

Op.Ivy ~ + 9,184 attack BP.

That's a 10972 point difference, or to simplify it, the "questionable fighter" has gained twice the offensive BP that you have. Alternatively, during the past month, I have gained almost 1/4 of your total current offensive BP

That's not even bringing in the whole "under constant attack/focusing on defence" angle into this. Which is not a factor for yourself.

I didn't even have to finish reading the whole thing, after clicking the links, reading the numbers, and looking at the facts I already saw op.ivy was pwnd.

the rest on the list have probly actually played this game, and yes, earned their spot.
all the props in the world to them.
i haven't checked their stats or alliances or had any contact with them, so i'm not going to throw out mindless insults backed by no specific knowledge of their past dealings.
although others sure love to do that!! don't they?? lol

Now to make this clear, it is only a number from each, rather than whole of most alliances that have attacked me.

Op.Ivy = 1 player

That's 1:1267
Even if it's just those who have attacked me it's 1:93.
Then there are those who are in my range who haven't attacked to add on to that.
So let's be gentle and round it up to 1:100.

Now I know you're a narcissist, but try to understand it from another view point.

1/100 reachable targets. Even at random, there is only a 1% chance you will be chosen to be attacked.
Now, you are closely surrounded by your alliance and allies, who, if online at the time, could respond to easily fill your city with an excess of 1000 biremes in the 3 hours 52 mins it takes for a naval attack to travel between our closest cities.

Alternatively, I could attack those who are not deep in enemy territory.

That's the possibility.
The constant attacks on that closest city (and others nearby) make the reality of that, even more unlikely.
Remember now, I am far more concerned with EOW.
Mainly because they keep attacking.
They don't attack once a week, get beaten, then hide for another week only to rinse and repeat.

Fighting EOW is like standing your ground against a fast flowing river, against you, it's like being served at by a tennis player (generally avoidable, but if it hit, there's no real damage).


Now, do I attack numerous actual threats who don't have 3 neighbouring oceans worth of aid to keep cities,
OR
I can attack the single guy who is constantly trying to bait me to attack him with the most pathetically obvious of ploys, who's cities would be ridiculously costly to hold?

these are the players on world alpha who at this time happen to have the most battle points

some of these players arguably are the best fighters in alpha
however, I know of many players who have lots of battle points and aren't the "best fighter" of the world; there are many scenarios that would allow a below-average player to accumulate lots of battle points.
