I can't think of any so called Elite alliance winning a world, what has happened in the past is 2 Elite alliances have joined as One group then gone on the rampage and built the WW,s quickly as they are full of active members that will always give help where needed.

Yeah by the time WW era starts, most of the original alliances have made numerous merges, name changes and member changes. Not very many players that start a world are still there at the end of it.

I've only made 2 merges in the entire server of Athens (en25). The elite alliance there, ATTT, would likely be much less succesful if it were not for the NAP they have with the 2nd biggest alliance in the game.
Anyways, there are not any elite alliances on this server. Only mega alliances, which have good players, but recruit a good deal more (Lacking Diplomacy comes to mind).

what ever happened to these guys. i felt for sure they would rule delos and easily build 7of7 WWs.
